When Kyungsoo came to pick up Taehyung, Baekhyun told him about the baby kicking for the first time, and made him vow he wouldn't tell anyone else besides Jongin —- since they told each other everything. He had happily agreed.

After Taehyung left with Kyungsoo, Baekhyun settled onto the couch with a blanket and a book he had been wanting to read, but just never got the chance. He had a warm mug of tea too and a bag of chocolate —- something he literally always craved —- and he was ready to read.

He read out loud softly while rubbing circles across his belly, and every so often the baby would kick to the sound of his voice, or maybe just in reaction to the book. Whatever the reason, Baekhyun couldn't stop smiling.

He had progressed relatively far into his book, when there was a knock on the door. He glanced up curiously, and checked the time, since some times Chanyeol would come home with groceries and need the door opened. But it wasn't even three yet so Baekhyun knew it couldn't be his husband. He set his book aside before waddling to the door, and used the peephole to see who it was.

A huge smile split across his face, when he recognized the familiar man on the other side of the door. Baekhyun pulled the door open with a happy cry of, "Hi! What brings you guys here?"

Luhan bit his bottom lip, and glanced over his shoulder at Sehun as he was just getting out of the car. He turned back to Baekhyun with a huge grin, and leaned in close to whisper, "Sehun proposed."

Baekhyun's mouth fell open, and he was frozen in happiness for his best friend. When he finally bursted, he screamed, "Yes! Show me the ring! Show me the ring!"

Luhan laughed as he held out his hand, showing off the beautiful diamond engagement ring. Baekhyun squeaked in delight, and squeezed Luhan's hand as he cried, "Oh my gosh, Sehun! It's about freaking time!"

Sehun walked up behind Luhan, and grinned as he wound his arms around his waist and kissed the side of his neck. Baekhyun grinned at the cuteness of them as he pulled Luhan inside the house.

"Chanyeol's going to be so happy for you guys when he hears the news! Oh my god! Today is a great freaking day," Baekhyun said. "First, my baby starts kicking. An second, my freaking best friend and brother are engaged!"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Luhan said holding up his hands. "The baby kicked?"

Baekhyun grinned and vigorously nodded. "Yes. I was softly reading out loud a note Chanyeol left on the fridge for me and she reacted to me saying that Chanyeol loved her. Then she kicked when Taehyung told her 'Hi'. It was so amazing!" Baekhyun gushed.

Luhan grinned and Sehun asked, "Do you mind if we . . ."

Baekhyun shook his head. "No, not at all," he said as he moved to sit in the middle of the couch, Sehun and Luhan sitting on the opposite ends.

"Does Chanyeol know yet?" Luhan asked.

Baekhyun shook and his head and pouted. "No. My poor baby's at work so he doesn't even know," Baekhyun mumbled sadly.

Sehun frowned and rubbed Baekhyun's back. "Hey. It's okay, Baek. He can feel her later."

Baekhyun nodded. "I know, I just wish we could have shared the moment together . . ." Sehun nodded understandingly as Baekhyun sighed before grabbed each of their hands, and pressed them against his belly. "Hey, baby girl. I have two people who really want to say 'Hi'. Will you say 'Hi' to them?" Baekhyun asked just as she kicked.

Luhan slapped a hand over his mouth to hold back his squeal as Sehun laughed and said, "Hi, my little niece!" She kicked again in answer, and all three of them died from a melted heart.

When it crept closer to three, Sehun and Luhan bid Baekhyun goodbye since they had plans to have dinner together and see a movie.

Baekhyun was sitting on the couch rubbing his belly with a smile as he waited for Chanyeol to come home any minute. He couldn't wait to tell him about their baby girl's first kick.

When he heard Chanyeol's keys in the lock he was nearly bursting with joy. He heard the door open followed by Taehyung's excited cries to be home as he came running into the living room, and jumped onto Baekhyun's lap. Baekhyun gasped in surprise as Taehyung quickly kissed his cheek before jumping off the couch and running upstairs like a mini tornado; Baekhyun stared after him with his jaw dropped.

When Taehyung's door slammed shut upstairs, Chanyeol walked into the room looking utterly terrified. He dropped his bag besides the couch before toeing off his shoes, and clasped across the couch with his head on Baekhyun's lap.

Baekhyun bit his bottom lip before quietly asking, "You okay?"

Chanyeol uttered something incomprehensible before managing to say, "Kyungsoo gave him sugar. He was practically bouncing out of his car seat on the way home. It was so scary."

Baekhyun laughed, unable to help himself. He giggled a moment longer before softly saying, "Would you like to know what happened while you were at work?"

Chanyeol hummed as Baekhyun brushed the hair back from his forehead, causing Chanyeol's eyes to flutter at his soft touch. Chanyeol sighed. "What happened?"

Baekhyun bit his bottom lip before whispering, "Our baby kicked."

Chanyeol's eyes widened, and he sprung upright as he cried, "Are you serious! No! I missed it!"

Baekhyun furrowed his brow, and cupped Chanyeol's cheeks as he gently said, "Hey. I know, but you can feel her now. Okay?"

Chanyeol sighed and muttered, "Okay," before allowing Baekhyun to take his hand to press his fingers against his baby bump.

He moved their joined hands around, feeling for their baby as he softly said, "Let her hear your voice."

Chanyeol nodded and leaned his forehead into the crook of Baekhyun's shoulder, as the hand not being held in Baekhyun's gently rubbed his belly. "Hi, sweetheart," Chanyeol softly spoke. "I heard from Mom you did something amazing without me. Can you be amazing for Daddy now?"

There was a small pause between Chanyeol's words and the kick that followed. Chanyeol grinned happily and lifted his head from Baekhyun's neck to kiss him, one hand coming up to thread through his hair. He kissed him roughly yet passionately before whispering against his lips, "I love you. I love you so much, Park Baekhyun."

Baekhyun closed his eyes as a smile curved his lips. He wound an arm around Chanyeol's neck, holding him close as well as he softly replied, "I love you too, Park Chanyeol. So much, it's unfathomable."
