Sehun found Chanyeol at the car, pulling out the rest of their gear. He smiled as he slide into the space beside him, grabbing random things. Chanyeol smiled back at him, and Sehun took that as his opportunity.

"Chanyeol? Can I ask you something?" Sehun nervously muttered.

Chanyeol nodded, his brow furrowing slightly at Sehun's tone; at the seriousness of it. "Yeah. What is it?" Chanyeol asked.

"I . . . I need some advice," Sehun mumbled.

Chanyeol nodded again. "Okay. What is it?"

Sehun inhaled a shakily breath and said, "Okay. I'm only coming to you about this because you've already done it. And every time I think about asking my stomach starts to churn and I can't do it. But I don't want to wait anymore. I have to ask him."

"Wait, wait, wait. Slow down! Ask who what?"

Sehun bit his bottom lip before quietly saying, "I want to ask Luhan to marry me."

Baekhyun's footsteps came to a stop beside the car as he heard a set of voices —- his brother and Chanyeol. Baekhyun frowned as he crept closer, straining to hear them properly.

"You're—-you're going to ask Luhan to marry you!" Chanyeol softly cried. "Holy shit, Sehun! Fuck yes!"

Baekhyun covered his mouth to suppress a giggle as Sehun nervously chuckled and muttered, "Wow. You're sure happy about this."

"Duh! You two are great together! Almost as cute as Baek and I."

Baekhyun could practically see Sehun rolling his eyes as he replied, "Oh wow. Thanks!" Sehun chuckled again, and there was a longish pause before he asked, "So how do you think I should ask? Where should I take him?"

"It's not about where you take him. I mean, so what I took Baekhyun to a fancy restaurant. It was about the meaning behind it," Chanyeol softly muttered. "I wanted to celebrate his new career and show him how much he deserves everything he's gotten through his hard work and perseverance. I also wanted my proposal to reflect that love."

"Did it?" Sehun asked.

Chanyeol was silent for a moment before he softly replied, "Yes. I think it did."

It did, Chanyeol. And I love you even more now for your thoughtfulness, Baekhyun thought.

Sehun sighed. "Okay. Thank you for your help Chanyeol."

"No problem! Just be careful not to make your plans so obvious. You want it to be a surprise," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun could hear the smile in Chanyeol's voice as he continued to say, "I mean, seeing Baekhyun's expression when he noticed the ring . . ." Chanyeol trailed off with a sigh. "I'll never forget that look. His eyes, filled with so much unadulterated love I felt like my heart would burst."

Baekhyun could feel the cloud of nostalgia settling around him. He could also feel the sting of unshed tears as his heart melted along with Chanyeol's words. He was so unbelievably moved knowing that, even when Chanyeol didn't realize Baekhyun could hear him talking about him, he still sounded wistful and so totally in love. And it was nice knowing Chanyeol expressed that much passion about him to family and friends when Baekhyun wasn't around to hear it. And it was hard for Baekhyun to even express how much he loves Chanyeol in this moment —- every moment.

"Damn Chanyeol," Sehun softly muttered. "You really love my brother . . ."

There was a smile in Chanyeol's voice as he replied, "Yes. More than he can even imagine."

Sehun sighed. "Anyone would be lucky to have half the love you have for each other. And I think....I know what I'll say to Luhan now. Thanks, Chanyeol," Sehun said before Baekhyun heard the sound of his retreating figure.

Baekhyun exhaled a shaky breath and quickly wiped the tears from his cheeks. He was extremely tempted to go to Chanyeol in the moment, but he managed to restrain himself and slowly walked back to their camp.

He saw Luhan look at him expectantly, and Baekhyun shook his head. His heart squeezed guiltily as he saw Luhan's face fall, but Chanyeol's words still rung in his ears. He wouldn't tell Luhan what he had heard because he didn't want to be the one to take away that joy Sehun would see when he asked him. Baekhyun wanted his brother to feel that same love Chanyeol felt for him when he looks into Luhan's eyes as he bears his heart.
