"Hello! How are we today?" Dr. Kim asked upon greeting.

Chanyeol smiled, relieved at the doctor's presence. "We're doing well. Thank you," Chanyeol said just as Baekhyun mumbled, "Speak for yourself. You're not the one throwing up as a little person grows inside you . . ."

Chanyeol mentally face palmed as he said, "I'm sorry! Baek is . . ." Chanyeol shook his head and shrugged.

Dr. Kim chuckled as he took a seat on the opposite side of Baekhyun directly beside a monitor. He smiled as he replied, "It's okay, Mr. Park, his hormones are in a frenzy which causes for his mood to be unpredictable. I've experienced it before, so no worries. Now Baekhyun, let's take a look at your paperwork . . ."

Upon hearing that, Chanyeol passed over the incompleted clipboard of information as he muttered, "I'm sorry. I don't have all the information...."

Dr. Kim smiled and reassured, "That's alright, Mr. Park, I can easily help with that. Now, shall we begin?"

Baekhyun nodded and softly mumbled, "Yes, please."

Dr. Kim nodded as he grabbed the gel and nicely instructed Baekhyun to lift his shirt. Once he had, Dr. Kim squirted a generous amount onto his abdomen, Baekhyun shivered at the coldness of the gel as the doctor then grabbed the wand like instrument and slowly began to run it over his stomach. Chanyeol's hand slipped into Baekhyun's as their heads turned toward the monitor and the image on the screen.

Dr. Kim moved the wand around a bit more before the sound of another much faster heartbeat joined in with Baekhyun's. "Oh my god," Baekhyun whispered as he covered his mouth, small tears threatening to fall as his grip tightened around Chanyeol's hand.

Dr. Kim smiled as he softly said, "It seems from this here" —- he pointed at a small peanut-like thing —- "is your baby at proximately six weeks."

"Six weeks!" Chanyeol gasped.

"Oh my god," Baekhyun exclaimed. "I can't believe I've been pregnant for that long and didn't even know!"

Dr. Kim smiled. "Well sometimes the mo—- Sometimes you don't notice until around this time in the pregnancy because you usually start to develop morning sickness, which after awhile begins to tip people off."

Baekhyun nodded and slowly counted in his head when he got pregnant. He gasped and snapped his head to the side as he cried, "Shit, Chanyeol! You got me pregnant on our honeymoon! It must have been that night we had six rounds of s—-"

Chanyeol slapped his hand over Baekhyun's mouth and cried, "Oh my god! Baekkie, I love you, but please shut . . . up!"

Baekhyun pouted and bit Chanyeol's palm, making him yelp as he wrenched his hand away. "Dr. Kim—-"

"Oh no, please, call me Seokjin," Dr. K—-Seokjin smiled.

Baekhyun nodded with a small smile as he said, "Okay. Seokjin, how long will it be before we can learn our baby's gender? And, um, can we have some pictures?"

Seokjin smiled. "Of course." He did a few things on the monitor before grabbing a wet tissue and wiping Baekhyun's stomach off as he said, "And to your other question, you can learn the baby's gender around sixteen or twenty weeks; and you'll start to show around twleve or so."

Baekhyun nodded as he pulled his shirt down. "When will my next appointment be?"

"You can discuss that at the front desk, but in approximately three weeks would be the next check-up," Seokjin said.

Baekhyun nodded. "Thank you. So in six more weeks I'll begin to show, and then in eight or so after that I can learn my baby's gender . . ." Baekhyun mumbled.

The doctor nodded. "Theoretically yes, but since this is your first pregnancy and that you're smaller in weight you'll probably show sooner. It all depends. Everyone is different so don't rely too much on what you read about 'standard' pregnancies pretaining to women. And since male pregnancies are so rare things can be unpredictable although from what I've seen they still seem to follow everything like a female pregnancy. Everything except the delivery, of course," Seokjin chuckled. "Okay, Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun nodded. "Good." Seokjin smiled. "Now I'll go have these pictures printed off and then I'll come back and you'll be on your way . . ."

They both nodded as Chanyeol muttered, "Thank you."

Baekhyun sighed as he laid his head back against the pillow and muttered, "You know, the fun part begins now . . ." Baekhyun trailed off with a small chuckle before saying, "We have to tell our parents."

Chanyeol tried not to groan as he laid his cheek down on Baekhyun's stomach; Baekhyun smiled as he ran his fingers through Chanyeol's hair.
