Baekhyun sat up slowly as his phone started to ring. He glanced at the caller ID but didn't recognize it, and then immediately thought it could be the adoption agency before hitting the 'accept' call button and pulling down his mask to speak.

"Hello?" he asked. "Who is it?"

"Ms. Kim from the adoption agency. Hello Baekhyun, I have some news for you . . ."

Baekhyun's breath caught and his heart started to race before he hurriedly cried, "Oh my gosh! Hi! Thank you so much for calling me back! What's this news you were wanting to tell me?"

Baekhyun could hear the smile in Ms. Kim's voice as she replied, "It'd be better if I could tell you in person. Would you be able to come by today or sometime around noon tomorrow?"

"Oh! Um, actually Ms. Kim, Chanyeol and I are camping with some friends but it's more than fine if you tell me over the phone," Baekhyun said with a smile.

"I suppose . . ." she sighed. "Well Mr. Park, the urine sample test results just came back to me today and our lab team found something very interesting.... Mr. Park, what I'm about to tell you is . . . Well, not idle but not necessarily impossible."

"What is it?" Baekhyun asked, growing uneasy and concerned.

"Um . . . Mr. Park you're . . . pregnant."

Baekhyun's body became impossibly still and suddenly everything sounded very far away. He could hardly speak as he whispered, "I'm —- I'm what?"

"You're pregnant, Mr. Park. It's rare but not impossible. We can discuss your adoption papers more later when you're ready. And Mr. Park?"

"Yes?"

"Congratulations."

"Th–thank you," Baekhyun whispered just before the line went dead. His phone slipped through his fingers just as Chanyeol came back into the tent with a smile and a plate of food. All Baekhyun could do was stare at his hands before he was forced to move as another wave a nausea seized his body.

A/N: Yes, this now an Mpeg. I was unsure at first in writing this because originally I was going to have the baby be the one they adopted but obviously the story line changed. If you don't like Mpeg's then that's your opinion, and I'm just going to say that even despite that you should still give it a chance and read this until the end.

I simply love everything about this story —- and the ones before it —- and if you like it's as much as I do then please, continue reading because if you loved the characters before then you should still love them after.
