Taehyung had his face and hands pressed to the glass of the living room window as he waited for Chanyeol to come home; it was already pass three and it didn't take him more than twenty or thirty minutes depending on the traffic so he should be pulling into the driveway any minute.

From the kitchen where Baekhyun was cooking dinner he heard Taehyung excitedly yell before the sound of the door was being flung up and he could hear both his boys loudly talking and laughing from the other room. Baekhyun smiled and glanced up when the foot steps moved into the kitchen to see Chanyeol awkwardly moving along as Taehyung held onto one of his legs.

Baekhyun laughed and wiped his hands off on a towel as he asked, "Did you have a good day?"

"It was decent," Chanyeol replied as he glanced down at Taehyung who was giggling. Chanyeol glanced back up at Baekhyun with a playful roll of his eyes. "My new promotion is exhausting though."

Baekhyun nodded. "As you knew it would be."

Chanyeol chuckled as he set his briefcase on a chair and dragged Taehyung along as he softly said, "You're supposed to reassure me and say it'll get easier."

Baekhyun pursed his lips to hold back a laugh as he wound his arms around Chanyeol's neck, he pecked his jawline and trailed his lips along his smooth skin to whisper into his ear, "But lying would set a bad example for Taehyung . . ."

Chanyeol rolled his eyes and gently touched Baekhyun's waist as he softly replied, "You're right, but you won't even do it for your husband's peace of mind?"

Baekhyun shook his head. "Nope."

Chanyeol laughed and rolled his eyes before quietly muttering, "Fine," before he lifted one of his hands up to cup Baekhyun's cheek. He kissed him slowly as Taehyung cried, "Ew!" before unwrapping his arms from Chanyeol's leg and running from the kitchen. Baekhyun and Chanyeol softly laughed before kissing once again.
