Monday,
Keeping her promise to her mother, Jane went back to work. Grace, however, was still on her Christmas break from college and she wasn't working much during the holidays because the children she babysat were either away with relatives for the holidays, or out on vacation with their own families.
Jane wanted to make sure that she stayed out of trouble so she was tasked with cleaning Jane's apartment. She had to make sure that it was spotless upon Jane's arrival back home and move all of her stuff from her old apartment into the one that she now shared with Jane. She started last night in an effort to make sure that she meet the deadline given and was extremely tired. She packed her clothes, washed Jane's clothes, cleaned Jane's kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, swept ever floor, dusted ever surface and by the time she was done with that, it was 4:15 pm. Jane gets off at 4:30 and Grace knew she'd be home anytime now, in the meantime she decided to lay on the couch and get some sleep.
When she woke up she jumped in fright because the front door had been slammed shut. She looked up and locked eyes with Jane who appeared to be furious.
"How was your day?" Grace asked cautiously.
"It was hell," Jane muttered while looking around the apartment. She hated to admit it but she was impressed. From where she stood everything looked amazing. Not an item out of place. She was hoping to take some of her frustration from work out on the teen. Coming back after a month and a half vacation was not ideal. She expected to return to a shop that was unchanged and running the way it was when she left but instead she returned to a shop that was missing several employees who had quit, licenses were outdated, money wasn't balancing out correctly and the supply of animals for sale were missing vaccinations, sick and inside the aquariums her fish were dead because of reasons.
Tomorrow would be a busy day, she'd have to hire more employees, find out where the missing money is, order more animals and potentially advertise to new customers because of all the bad reviews her shop received while she was away.
Maybe she could bring Grace along, what's the harm in free labor?
"I'm going to shower, perhaps it'd be a good idea to prepare dinner?" Jane inquired as she began up the stairs.
"Of course, I'll get right on that" Grace muttered. She hoped that one day her and Jane would get along and that she'd be forgiven.

"I'm not going to lie" Jane began as she sat in front of her plate of lasagne. "This looks and smell amazing" She tasted the food in front of her and it tasted just as good.
"Thankyou" Grace smiled beaming at the compliment. Jane said something nice to her, this was a good sign, right? "I enjoy cooking. This was one of my grandmother's recipes she passed on to me before she died"
"Compliments to the chef. Who would have known you'd be a good little submissive housewife, you clean well, you cook well, if only you weren't a slut"
And just like that Grace felt what little ounce of hope she had evaporate away. "I'm really sorry" Grace whispered.
"Mhhh.." Jane muttered before continuing her food. When she was done she stood from the table. "Clean this up and come to the bedroom when you're finished"
"Yes ma'am"
