"I want all of our stuff unpacked by 4:30. Hang our clothes in the closet, yours on the left side, mines on the right. Fold our pajamas, yours on one side, mine on the other. Underclothes inside this one, socks in this one" Jane instructed as she walked around the room pointing to where things should be place. "Shoes in the closet on the appropriate side, arrange them by function. Place toiletry in the bathroom, then slide the suitcases under the bed. Place my charger on the night stand. You will be sleeping by the window, I will sleep by the door-"

"We're sleeping in the same bed?" Grace questioned.

Jane sighed with irritation. Must Grace be so stupid. She glanced by the door just to confirm that no one just so happened to be passing by. "Yes you idiot, we are sleeping in the same bed. Now, give me your phone, I'm confiscating it during our stay here. You can have it for one hour before bed"

"But- why?" Grace questioned. "What if I need it before then"

"The only thing you need to do is stop questioning me. I'm taking your phone because I don't want to jeopardize what we're doing here. I'm not taking any chances. Obviously you don't know how to make good choices otherwise we wouldn't be here in the first place. So, I will make them for you" Jane stated before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.

Dinner approached quickly. The family spoke to each other and Grace simply sat and ate quietly like Jane instructed her to. It's like she wasn't even there, she began to think about her family, she wondered if they even noticed that she wasn't there for the thanksgiving weekend. Her family rarely even paid attention to her when she there. Both of her parents were in the Military so growing up they were never really around. The only good thing that came out of that fact was the scholarship that she received for being a dependent, otherwise she don't even think that she would have been able to go to college, her parents used there GI bill on themselves and not her. She was interrupted from her thoughts when she felt Jane elbow her in the ribs. She glanced at Jane who motioned for her to look at her father.

"I'm sorry?" She questioned hoping he'd repeat what ever it was that he said.

"Jane said that you are in college, what are you studying?" He repeated with a smile.

"Oh, um, well, I'm not really sure, right now I'm just taking some core classes. I don't really know what I want to do with my life yet" She admitted honestly.

"Well, you're 18 years old, you still have your whole life ahead of you" He responded.

"Jane is 20 years older than you, how do you feel about that?" Justine questioned.

"I don't mind it" Grace replied, she could feel her palms sweating, she was never the center of attention like she was here, and it was making her nervous.

"What do you like about her?"

"Well, she's pretty and smart" Grace stated looking at Jane who smiled at her. She smiled back sadly because she knew the smile that Jane wore was fake. "She makes me happy because before I started dating her I had no one"

"What do you mean?" Justine questioned.

"That's enough questions for today" John interrupted. He could tell that the teen was blushing and didn't want to make her uncomfortable during her stay. His wife could be pushy sometimes. Justine raised a perfectly arched eyebrow at him before returning to her meal.

When dinner was over John began to clear the table before washing the dishes.

"Oh father, Grace can do this dishes" Jane volunteered. Grace looked up at Jane who was watching her father before looking down at the floor.

"Nonsense dear, Grace is our guest"

"I insist and Grace doesn't mind, do you dear?" Jane questioned looking at her 'girlfriend'

"Of course not, it'll be my pleasure" Grace answered. Did she really have a choice.

"Okay, well then it's settled" Justine clapped her hands in delight. "Aren't you just the sweetest, if only Jane was more submissive like you growing up but I'm afraid she takes after her mother" She stated proudly. "She's a keeper" she added.
