To say I was nervous was an understatement. I was sitting in her living room with her parents not too far away from us.
Her dad would pop his head in every five mintues just to check up on us. He would also bring us snacks and take a seat between us for about ten mintues. I've been there for about an hour and we already had a box of pizza, popcorn, candy, and soda laying on the table. He sat between us quite a few times as you can tell.
While I was getting dressed to come here I was considered not wearing my hoodie. That was the first time I ever thought about letting people other than my family see my face.
The fact that I even thought about not wearing my hoodie around her scared me. It scared me that I'm already so comfortable with her and I've only known her for a day.
What she doesn't know is that I could talk, I'm not really mute. I choose to be mute because I don't want to get too close to anyone. I don't got time to be let down or left by anyone. I rather save myself the heartache.
"What's it like having Jordan as a sister? She looks nicer than my demon sister"
"I heard that"
Myra screamed from the kitchen. She popped her in the living room and stuck the middle finger at her.
"Living with Jordan isn't so great either. She uses up all the hot water, eats all the food, and she sleeps for more than half of the day. I sometimes have to carry her in public because she claims her feet hurt. It's just horrible."
I texted her. Jordan is a very very very hard person to take care of. Just because I give her whatever she wants people think I spoil her.
What they don't know is that Jordan work for what she has first. If she wants a new toy she has to clean her room or wash the dishes. Nothing comes for free in my house.
Nevaeh read the messages and started laughing. If she lived with Jordan she would've been crying every second of the day.
"Since we answered all these dumb questions how do you want to decorate the board?" Nevaeh said.
We don't even have to use a board. Nevaeh said she wants to go the extra mile and make sure she gets an A.
I just shrugged my shoulder and let her think about whatever it is she wants to do with the board. I don't really care about it.
"But don't add any glitter or sparkly things on the board please."
She looked at the text and smiled widely at me. A little too wide.
"Of course not. I would never do that"
Yup, she's gonna add glitter. A whole bunch of it too. I forgot she told me that her favorite color is pink and glitter. I walked into that one.
"But on another note, can I borrow you for my photography class?"
She asked with a wide smile. I wanted to say no but throughout the whole time I was there the thing she talked about the most was photography.
She even showed me her collection of cameras her parents buys for her whenever they go somewhere new.
That's cool, at least her parents think about her when they're gone. Mine left nine years ago and I haven't even received a letter. Those bastards.
I nodded my head causing her to squeal in excitement. She quickly ran up to her room to crab her school camera.
Once she came downstairs she pulled me off the couch and circled me. She had her hand on her chin as she looked at me. She already makes me nervous now she's doing this.
