Silas screamed from downstairs. I could hear him running around the house. The date with my parents latest longer than I thought. We lost track of time.
While silas was rushing to find his missing socks he kept on screaming about I was taking my sweet time. We're so late that there's no point of us rushing. At this point there lucky if we even show up.
