"Silas I told you to dress Everly not drop her on her head"
I said while I put an ice pack on her swollen forehead. Silas was just standing in the background biting his fingernails while I tried to calm down the crying baby.
Since he missed the game last night he decided to watch it this morning. When his team made a touch town he jumped off the couch causing Everly, who was on his lap, to fall.
Not only is she hurt but today we're supposed to bring our babies to class. I really hope the bump goes down by the time we reach the school.
"I'm sorry that your dad decided to use you as a football. Do you want your baby food?"
At the mention of baby food she cried even harder. For a baby who's supposed to eat baby food she wants nothing to do with it. She likes the food Silas and I eat.
"I'm sorry baby girl. I'll get you a burger"
Silas said. She immediately stopped crying and wiped her tears. She reached out to Silas as she busted out in fits of giggles. This is unbelievable. It's obvious she gets her love of food from Silas.
"While you make her the burger I'll go pick out our clothes"
He just nodded his head. I know he didn't hear a word I said. He's too busy lying kisses on Everly's stomach. She took a break from laughing to smile at me. She knows she's stealing my man too.
I went to Everly's closet only to be shocked. There's like twenty new outfits in there. And surprise surprise they were all outfits for baby boy.
I picked out a gray Adidas sweatshirt with a gray Adidas sweatpants. I paired that with her white high top Adidas and a white hat.

Once I was done I went downstairs to take Everly. To my surprise Silas was taking her a shower in the sink. I watched as he ran the water through her hair while he massaged her scalp.
I remember when I was little my mom used to wash my hair in the sink. My neck used to hurt like crazy from the constant pulling and moving my mom was doing.
Since he's on dad duty I guess I'll go pick out his outfit. I bought half of his clothes and shoes so I might as well style it for him. Lord knows he'll match black with black if he picks it out himself.
I picked out his black knee rip jeans with his black jean jacket. To add a pop of color I threw in a yellow champion crew neck and his black and white vans.
