Right now we're in the car on our way to the animal shelter. I wanted a dog and Silas didn't do we had to compromise and get a dog. Since the kids were at school we decided to go right now.

Ever since last night Silas has been very quiet. Having his father randomly show up to our house really messed up his mood. The guy was gone for ten years of his life then he suddenly shows up out of nowhere.

His sperm donor told him that his egg donor was at work so she couldn't come with him. He claimed that they were sorry for abandoning him with a new born baby and that they're clean now. By the way he kept on twitching I knew he was lying.

What got me more mad was the fact that he mentioned taking Jordan from Silas since they were clean now. They feel fit to take of her NOW. Years later.

So they left their kids for about ten plus years and now they know that they're alive.

I felt like there was a specific reason why he came. Once he asked us to stay in our house for a week I understood why. Silas said yes since he installed about fifteen cameras in the house the minute he left to get his wife. He wants to catch them in the act.

I think what hurts Silas the most is the tone his dad had. Every sentience he said was emotionless. There was no regret or sorrow present in his voice.

"What are you thinking about sunshine?"

"Homecoming. After we pick a dog I want to go to the nail shop since you went without me already"

I said a little bit upset. He already went to get his nilas cleaned but he didn't tell me. I knew he went to get his nails done once I saw the little foam sandals on his feet when he came home. The betrayal.

"When I woke you up to go with me you told me to fuck off. I just took Jordan, Myra, and Everly and left you home. At least I bought you two plates of food"

Even thought the food was the best food ever I was still a little mad at Silas. Once he handed me a can of fruit punch Arizona all the anger I had disappeared.

I looked in the back seat only to see Everly looking at Silas with a smile on her face. She really loves him and I can feel it.

If she's crying and Silas comes in the room she immediately stops crying and reaches out for him. She won't sleep until Silas comes home now so he makes sure his fights are finished before eleven.

When they take Everly away Silas and I will be sad but it's going to hurt Silas the most.

She saw me looking at her and her smile dropped. She put her hand on her lips and blew me a kiss. Man I love this little girl.

Once we got to the shelter Silas got out of the car and walked over to Everly. He picked her up and held her close to his chest.

"Hello welcome to..... ohhhh it's you guys"

Emily said as she rolled her eyes. Silas sighed and went to walk around the shelter in search of a dog. Even though Emily was working in a animal shelter she wearing her eight inch heels with her mini skirt.

"Why are you here?"

She asked as she applied lip gloss. I don't know why she's applying lip gloss for, she's working with animals. I hope she slips on dog shit.

"Why would I be at the dog shelter Emily? Ask yourself that question"
