This is a draft version of the story The Mermaid's Granddaughter.
In another time and space, two kinds of people lived on earth — the landpeople, and the merpeople. They got on well with each other until the landpeople developed some 'new technology.'
They learned to build boats which enabled them to get things out of the sea without the help of the merpeople. Thanks to their 'advanced technology' the landpeople now believed they were superior to the merpeople and took them as slaves.
This is a story for children of all ages.
The main characters are two princesses — Mango, a landprincess, and Nori, a merprincess. It is a tale about love, courage, defiance, and a secret grandmother.
