Throughout the day and night, Shaun snuck into [y/n]'s room whenever he could. It was only three times, but every time she was asleep. Finally, he got off work and could stay for a bit.
He opened the curtain to see she was awake, reading. He smiled wide as he came over to her. "Somebody's happy," she observed.
"Every time I came in, you were asleep," he stated, monotone.
"You did come see me?"
"Three times."
"Aw. You're off work then?"
"Yes," he answered.
"Will you stay for a lil bit?" she asked, her lip stuck out in a plea.
"Yes," he repeated.
"Yay," she cheered.
"Do you hurt?" he asked.
"Not really."
