Fall

Note: so I tried to fall asleep for the past half hour but growing pains are a bitch and also I'm overthinking. also i think this is super funny but i saw this girl's spotify in my class and one of her playlists says 'FUCK IT UP' and the other one is called 'songs of worship' about jesus

talk about 2 faced ass, i can say that because she sucks

this is why i dont like anyone in my school, haha anyways-

So here's a list on why I can't wait for fall
I'll  do this 5 senses style

#1: taste

- ok first of all screw pumpkin spice crap

Chai tea latte is the way to go

- I do, however, die for my mom's pumpkin bread

- it's finna tea season where I can drink hot tea and not want to die

- also dark chocolate, that stuff is nice

- my mom's soup

- mochas/lattes

#2: smell

- petrichor, this smell is just always present and I love it??

- again, teas

- food baking in general

- earth and nature in general just smells crisP

- cinnamon oatmeal. I know that sounds weird but it's only because I have a face mask I use when the airets dry and it smells sO good

- Anyways

- regular coffee, although i don't drink it, smells v nice

- the woods.

- bonfires

#3: touch

- sweaters, i lOve my soft sweaters,, but they're kinda reserved for late fall

- scarves. 

-oksolike- I have many scarves, people often comment on them like 'wow aNother scarf,,, nice.' and it's like?? i didn't ask for ur opinion cLare but ok- i love my scarves. they're nice scarves ok??

- ok

- warm mugs. as mentioned before; i love tea. warm mugs are just so nice and it's like a hug but you know, without another person hugging/touching you??

- blankets. it's almost sad how much people in my family love their soft blankets and abundance of pillows

- aside from sweaters large hoodies are very nice. any out of uniform day ppl can catch me making -10% effort and just wearing leggings and a big ass sweatshirt

- anywhoo

#4: sight

- earth tones r my life so looking at nature is just so lovely

- trees, fields, outside in general

- pottery. going out to stillwater and seeing my mom's friends make pottery is super nice

- oddly specific but looking at oil paintings make me very happy

- this is also the time when i whip out my glasses for more frequent use

- for the aesthetic and also contacts are a bother this time of the year

 - rain

#5: hear

-so. around this time of the year my taste in music is very 'soft'

- i mean im talkin' old school ed sheeran, tomppabeats, classical music gets a boost, hozier, dean martin, etc.

- v romantic shit, chiill

- again, rain

- the crunch of leaves

#6: feelings/places

- um coffee shops all the way

- libraries too :))

-hiking on the dry days is soo much fun

tbh just quiet time with ppl

- also tbh the romantic side of me comes out more in fall ??

- reading sessions with chill music

- just feeling cozy and such

also i got a new, very large and comfy sweatshirt today :)
