After God explained to Luke what he had to do, he went back to his room to get ready. The building he lived in was like an old university, with a gym, library, classrooms and rooms for people to live in. It was kind of like an angel school.

He was back in his room and picked out some clothes. They always had to dress white in Heaven, but for missions they have special clothing so they won't stand out on Earth. He put on his clothes, ripped black skinny jeans and a Green Day t-shirt – he remembers being a fan of them when he was human – and a pair of black Vans. He looked through his drawers for his wallet; he would need an ID if he was going to Earth, and also some money to pay for things. He found it and put it in his back pocket. He picked up his cross-shaped dagger and put it in one of his pockets as well. He didn't need to worry about it stabbing him, because he was already dead.

Luke sat down on his bed and thought about his mission. God told him that he had to go on a demon hunt. He was nervous, because it was his first hunt, and his first time back on Earth. He knew how to spot demons, they all have bright red eyes and he was able to feel their presence. That is also why they have to wear normal clothes. Demons can't feel angels. They can only recognize them by their eyes and hair. For Luke, it was easier to hide, because he looked perfectly human. Except for the fact that he was like a ghost; he could float, walk through walls and he's able to control his visibility for humans. It's pretty awesome to be dead, well, besides the fact that he's dead.

Luke stood up and walked to his door. Taking one last glance around the dull, white room to make sure he had everything. He closed his door and walked through the halls, back to God's office. When he arrived he saw the door already opened, God sitting behind his desk again, waiting for Luke. He walked inside and bowed.

"Luke, you're the last one. The other angels are already on Earth," He told Luke. Luke nodded and walked to a black hole that was floating in the middle of the room. He looked at God, asking for permission to leave, and God nodded. He bowed one last time and entered the portal, after that everything went black.

He woke up from a bright light. At first he thought that he was still in Heaven, but then he realized that it was sunlight. He looked around and saw that he was laying on the ground in the woods. There were trees everywhere and he had no idea what to do. He stood up and started floating in a random direction, hoping that he would found a way out of the woods. He didn't recognize this place, but he'd been gone for 5 years so a lot could've changed.

After a few hours of floating around Luke finally found his way out of the woods. He was close to a main road, which he followed and he eventually ended up in a small town. He 'turned on' this his visibility and walked through the streets, sometimes greeting people. He heard some people talking, and hearing their accents made him realize that they were Irish. Because it was such a small town, people gave him weird and curious looks, probably because they never had strangers just walking around. He spotted a café on the other side of the road, so he crossed it and walked inside. There weren't a lot of people, and it felt warm and cosy. He sat down and a waiter walked up to him.

"What can I get you, sir?" the waiter asked, sending Luke a warm smile. He looked young, maybe around 19 or 20 years old. He had an Australian accent, just like Luke. His name tag said 'Ashton'. He seemed like a nice guy.

"A cup of coffee would be nice, please," Luke answered, smiling back. Ashton nodded and walked off. Luke wondered how coffee tasted; He remembered that he used to drink it when he was human, but after all those years he forgot the taste. The waiter came back and gave him the cup. Luke thanked him and gave him the money. The waiter was about to walk away, but Luke stopped him.
