"We don't know what to tell you Mr.Quinn, your father hasn't been in the country for at almost a month a half now"

I sat still and upright in the hard plastic chair next to Vic, his fingers laced tightly with mine. We had arrived here about an hour ago, I had written down my statement and shown the police the texts I've been getting only to hear that my father may not have been the person to send them in the first place.

"W-what do you mean?" I stuttered, tilting my head to the side slightly.

"First of all, you father was transferred to a prison over seas two and half months ago, he was let out a few weeks ago but was given a restraining order for you and your family" the policeman explained, I nodded my head slowly taking in this information he was giving me.

"Secondly, these phone calls are coming from a pay phone somewhere in this area, that means the person calling you can't possibly be your father and the texts are coming from a phone currently registered to man called bill in Alaska "

I swallowed and nodded my head slowly in understanding where in reality I had absolutely no idea what the hell was happening. My dad isn't sending the texts? Then who the hell is?

"So who is it then?" The previously quite Vic asked.

"Well, do you have anyone in your life's who might hold a grudge towards you" the kind policeman asked.

I thought for a moment before shaking my head. I have people who don't like me but not enough to so something like this, no, this has to be about something else.

"Well at the moment we can't really do anything about it, but if you get anymore texts or calls you should definitely let us know, we might be able to trace them back to were they're coming from"

"W-what if they come after me?" I frowned "whoever the person is, they could find out I came here and then attack me" I was getting more and more anxious now.

This person could potentially be dangerous and I had no plans whatsoever to meet that person.

"At the moment, we highly don't think that will happen, we've seen these types of things before and it mostly just starts and ends with texts. Right now we recommended you just go home and take some time to calm down because everything will be okay and well sort it all, okay?"

"Here, I made you some tea" Vic placed a steaming mug in front of me and I gladly took a small sip. Today had been too much, going to police was took a lot in me and I couldn't keep my leg still from the anxiety I felt right now.

I keep think the person who's been texting me is going to show up or call or something. I still kinda believed that it was my dad even though the policeman had said it wasn't there was still a small part of me that didn't believe him.

"Kells?" Vic spoke softly "baby, it's gonna okay" he kissed my temple and pulled me close to him.

"We can get you a new phone so you won't receive the texts okay?"

"Okay" I replied nodding my head and wrapping my arms around Vic tightly. I took a deep breath and then let out all worries, Vic was right everything will be okay and going to the police has helped me a little.

"Do you wanna-" Vic was cut off by the sound of the doorbell going, he looked at me with a confused look on his face which I returned with a worries one. What's if it's them? The person who's been harassing me?

"No! Don't get it!" I club to the edge of Vic's jumper to stop him from going to the door.

"Kellin it's alright" he pulled my hands away from him and turned to head to the door. I followed him but stopped in the living room where I could still see him.

"Mike!" Vic's surprised voice sounded out into the large house. Mike was here? That's weird.

"I'm here to see Kellin" I heard him say and then the next thing I knew he'd pushed past Vic was standing in the hall.

"Mike!" I smiled when I saw him, he turned his head and gave me a big grin before holding out his long arms for me which I gladly walked into.

"It's good to see you buddy" his muffled voice said and I smiled, it was good to see him too.

"How's it been?" he asked when we finally pulled apart, my eyes drifted to Vic behind Mike and my smile faltered slightly. He was just standing there, looking down at the ground awkwardly with a frown on his face.

"Great actually" I replied Mike then walked over to Vic to take his hand in mine. "Both me and Vic are doing great"

Mike stared down at our hands in confusion, it was no severer that he was angry and had stopped talking to Vic since my accident. Mike was one of the people who blamed Vic for what happened and didn't believe that Kailey was and evil bitch.

"What's going on?" he asked his eyes meeting mine and Vic's. "You took him back? After everything he did?"

"No" I shook my head "I took him back after everything Kailey did. It wasn't Vic's fault, it was all Kaileys"

Mike gave me a look of disbelief and I almost took a step back. "No, no this is all Vic's doing" he pointed an accusing finger at Vic who squeezed my hand lightly.

"Kailey had drugged Vic" I explained "Vic told me everything"

"And you just believed him?" Mike asked "Kailey is pregnant, why on earth would she lie about that?"

"Exactly" I replied "She's pregnant and sick in the head" I made a twisting motion with my finger next to my head. "She didn't seem at all sorry when I'd asked her about it"

"Of course she didn't she's a bitch, I don't forgive her for what she did but as soon as she gives birth to that thing she's carrying I want nothing more to do with her or her demon baby"

"Calm down Mike, it's your kid too" I said "but I'm serious, Vic did nothing wrong, ask Kailey about it, she may deny it at first but it's all true I just know it is"

Mike shifted his eyes towards Vic and they just looked at each other for the longest time. It was like they were having a silent conversation without me and I desperately wanted to know what it was about.

"Please Mike" Vic finally said "You have to believe me, I miss my little brother" Vic let go of my hand and took a step forward towards Mike.

"Please"

Mikes face was hard and held little emotion making difficult for me to read. He sighed and walked the little distance to Vic and pulled him into his arms, Vic's head resting on mikes chest. What a short ass.

"I'm sorry I didn't believe you" Mike said "we can talk properly about her next time okay?" he said when his phone let out a noise to alert a new text message.

"I'm meant to be meeting someone in five minutes and It's gonna take me at least twenty minutes to get there" he said backing out of the door.

"I'll call later okay?" he said when his phone began ringing and with that he ran towards his car and quickly got inside.

We watched him drive away down the road until we could no longer see the black shiny rear of his car and then took Vic's hand in mine and pulled him inside before closing the door.

"We'll sort it all out babe" I told him kissing him lightly on the lips, he nodded his head slowly and then sighed.

"I just don't understand why she's do it in the first place... I tried calling her once" Vic confessed. I looked at him surprised, if I was him I wouldn't have wanted anymore to do with her and when the hell did he call her?

"I wanted some answers but she started crying randomly on the phone and shouting for me to leave her alone, that's when your mom came in the phone and yelled at me" he chuckled a little at the memory but I didn't.

What he said just made me angry, I was suddenly angry at my mother and Kailey again. How could they do this? how could she do this to me and how could my mother forgive we so easily?

"Like I said" I said, breath in Kellin I told myself "We'll fix it" breath out.
