The patter of footsteps coming towards me broke me from my trance.

I ignored it as it gradually comes closer, choosing instead to focus on how the black lights were branching out towards the wall.

It was forming a circle, creating an endless loop that stretch on for hours.

It was the only way to get rid of the ache somewhere in my heart that knew I was returning to Earth.

Its been 2 months since I saw him.

6 months since the incident happened.

I haven't gone back to visit him since.

That was suppose to be the last time.

The last lingering piece of me that I was leaving behind.

Now I was going back and my former self, knows this.

Its knows about the family I left behind.

It knows about the pain I left in my wake.

But at the same time I cannot hide the hatred I have inside me that was steadily growing.

I cannot hide the pain they put me through.

And while the former person would've forgiven them, I was not the same now.

"Dark Witch," Ebony's voice brought me out of my trance and I raise my head to meet his.

The black contraption by the wall continues to move and from the reflection of his armored chest plate, I notice how my eyes are continuously steadily glowing black.

If it wasn't for the white outside my eyes, I really would've looked like a monster.

His lips curled in distaste at how I regarded him.

The others always looked at him like he was higher than them but I refuse to give Ebony the satisfaction.

I was stronger then either of them and he knows this.

"Thanos will be in touch with you. I suggest you answer when we call,"

He held out a newly repaired wrist monitor, one I suspect is new as I destroyed mine out of anger a few days ago.

"Do me a favor and don't let this one perish," He added for good measure, tired of being my apparent nanny.

I rolled my eyes and snatched the mechanism he held out for me.

"Don't piss me off then,"

Slipping it on my wrist, the black skin suit crawled up my forearm, exposing my skin and letting the metal lock on.

Once I had secured it, the exposed arm practically dissolved within the darkness, following my alternating suit.

God, these new abilities made me feel invincible.

Placing my palm forward, I twisted it to the left, the contraption by the wall began to circulate, morphing into a doorway.

A black hole began to open, my powers weaving themselves in front of each other.
