As we walked down the middle of the rows of crystal balls in The department of Mysteries, an uneasy feeling rushed over me. I looked towards Ron who just looked around in amazement. We all had our wands dream, ready to strike if needed.

"He should be here." Harry whispered, stopping in front of number ninety five. Harry looked at me and I nodded.

"Harry. It's got your name on it." Neville said, looking at Harry. We both turned towards him.

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. And the Dark lord make him as his equal... but he shall have power the Dark Lord knows not. For neither can live while the other survives." Harry read and I looked at him, but my sight was broken from the corner of my eye I could see someone approaching.

"Harry." I whispered and he turned, looking in the direction of the figure. We both held our wands out, the light at the end of them illuminating the dark area.

"Where's Sirius?" Harry asked and I swallows hard.

"You know, you really should learn to tell the difference between dreams... and reality." The man whispered, using his wand he made the mask disappear that covered his face. Lucius Malfoy looked at both Harry and I swallowed hard again. "You saw only what the Dark Lord wanted you too see. Now, hand me the prophecy." Lucius spoke as I watched a familiar woman sneak up behind Lucius, playing her chin on his shoulder. Bellatrix Lestrange.

"If you do anything to us, I'll break it." Harry warned and I stared down the woman.

"He's knows how to play. Itty, bitty baby. Potter." Bellatrix whispered and I shivered.

"Bellatrix Lestrange." Neville whispered and I tightened my grip on my wand.

"Neville Longbottom, is it? How's mum and dad?" The witch asked.

"Better, now they're about to be avenged." Neville spoke boldly and I smiled and nodded. Bellatrix moved her gaze to me and I stared daggers towards her.

"Phoenix Winters. I thought you'd be dead by now, just like poor mummy and daddy." She snickered and I just sent her a smirk.

"Can't get rid of me that easy, you ugly bitch" I spoke and her smile dropped from her face.

"Now, lets everybody calm down... shall we?" Lucius asked and I rolled my eyes and held my wand tighter, if that was even possible. "All we want is the prophecy." He finished and I shook my head.

"Why did Voldemort need us to come get this?" Harry asked and I looked back to Lucius and Bellatrix.

"You dare speak his name? You filthy half-blood!" Bellatrix yelled and I flinched. Harry looked at me and I took a deep breathe.

"It's all right. He's just a curious lad. Aren't you?" Lucius asked. "Prophecies can only be retrieved by those about whom they are made. Which is lucky for you, really. Haven't you always wondered... what was the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? Why he was unable to kill you... when you were just an infant? Don't you want to know the secret of your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do... is give it to me. Then I can show you everything." Lucius spoke and I stared for a second, before letting my gaze fall to the floor. What's my connection to the Dark Lord?

"I've waited 14 years." Harry whispered and I looked back up, anger clouding my body.

"I know." Lucius spoke, moving closer to Harry.

"I guess I can wait a little longer." Harry spoke and I smirked.

"Stupefy!" Harry and I yelled at the same time, sending both Bellatrix and Lucius flying backwards. My mind shifted as I shot my wand every 5 seconds, I smiled at Neville who managed a spell he had been working on. But my smile dropped as I watched the large shelves falling over, prophecies falling to the floor.

"Get back to the door!" I yelled and we all ran towards the door. We ran through the door one by one, dropping to a stop. Our body hovered centimetres from the ground, until we dropped.

"Department of Mysteries. They got that bit right, didn't they?" Ron asked with a breathy laugh. But I couldn't hear him, instead I could hear the sound of voices. I turned to Harry who was making his way up the small hill towards something that terrified me.

"The voices. Can you tell what they're saying?" Harry asked and I walked behind him, Luna and I coming up beside him.

"There aren't any voices, Harry. Let's get out of here." Hermione said with panic in her voice.

"I can hear me too." Luna and I both said at the same time.

"It's just an empty archway. Please, Harry." Hermione pleaded but it was too late, Harry and I turned with our wands.

"Get behind me!" Harry yelled and we did as we were told. But once we were behind him, cold black smoke covered the air above us. I stayed on the floor , curled into a ball, only when I opened my eyes it was just Harry and I. We stood, looking around the room to see our friends struggling to get away from the the criminals holding them. A laugh came from in front of us and I turned quickly.

"Did you actually believe... or were you truly naive enough to think... that children stood a chance against us? I'll make this simple for you both. Give me the prophecy now... or watch you're friends, die." Lucius spoke, Harry looked around the room but I just studied him.

"Don't give it to him, Harry!" Neville yelled, but as Harry looked back to Lucius he slowly handed it to him. I watched the scene, my stomach churning at the exchange. But a bright light caught us off guard, causing Lucius to turn around.

"Get away from my godson." Sirius said, punching Lucius straight in the face. The next thing we heard was the sound of smashing, I looked behind me, lights passing by me as I smiled. I sat next to Sirius and Harry at the stone, I looked over to see Lupin fighting off the darkness.

"Now, listen to me. Take the others and get out of here." Sirius spoke and I shook my head.

"What? No, we're staying with you." Harry spoke and I nodded.

"You've done beautifully. Now let me take it from here." Sirius said, placing a hand on both Harry and I's shoulder. But before we could a light flew past us, sending rubble from the stone in to the air.

"Black." Lucius spoke and we all turned towards him. Lucius was the first to shoot, then one of his little friends joined him. It was three against one. I could hear Bellatrix laughing in the air and it only made me more angry. It was a full on battle at this point.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled, knocking the wand it of Lucius's hand.

"Nice one, James!" Sirius exclaimed and stopped both Harry and I in our tracks. It was only Lucius and Sirius left, so when Sirius knocked the wand from Lucius's hand, I smirked.

"Avada Kedarva!" Bellatrix yelled and I watched in horror as Sirius stumbled back into the archway. He let out one final smile before being taken away. The next thing I knew, Lupin had Harry in his arms and I just crumbled to the floor, with no emotions at all. Tonks held me as I just stared at the archway. Harry sobbed and yelled, while Lupin held him back. But I just stared, wishing I never was a wizard.
