As the dragon lands gracefully on the large field at the back of their house Arabella and Maria leap of its back onto the cool, green grass.
"Dad, dad!" screams Maria, "We're home! DAD!" she races across the meadow into her father's welcoming arms.
"I was worried sick." replied dad sounding thankful.
Arabella, trying to ease her father's worries simply says "We defeated him!"
"I thought that it was just you going." responds dad to Arabella.
"Well he took me when I got up to read the note you left." says Maria ten explaining how she got up just before dawn and captured him and they teleported to the mountain, "There used to be minions, but I don't know where they went."
With that Arabella simply smiles and after Maria's explanation, she decides that it is time for hers. She explains about the note, Lavender's warning, her night in the forest, the wolf and the minions (which makes Maria smile). "Now it's time for your explanation. Why did Aojo come to get us?"
Dad hesitates before answering, "They used to be friends, but then Aojo started going bad and your mother was trying to help and be good, they had a fight and that is how she died and why he went to the Dark Water Asylum. He thought it was your mother's fault for him ending up there."
They then went into the house in silence, letting each and everyone time to think over everything that they just said.
