After being quite confused about the odd letter that had been delivered by Raye, Arabella spotter Maria walking through the door with no money and a small basket of food.
"Here it is." she said cheerfully, showing the basket to her sister, 'I'll make dinner. Can you give me the veggies you found?"
In response, Arabella simply nodded her head and handed over the veggies before dreamily wandering off to the furthest cramped room which was taken over by the bunk bed she shared with her sister. Sitting down on her mattress, Arabella created a plan explaining how to get to the lake without anyone noticing.
At half-past eleven, Arabella was all ready to go, she pulled on a jacket and some shoes before easing the door closed behind her. With a deep breath, Arabella stepped out onto the gravel path leading down to the lake at the bottom of the hill. At exactly midnight Arabella had reached the creek and was just sitting down on a log when she heard a rustle in the bushes and out stepped a tall girl in bright red boots.
"H- hi Arabella-" the girl stammered
"-How do you know my-"
"-Maria told me."
"Ok, so you're Lavender?" asked Arabella and with Lavender's nod she carried on, "Why did you call me here?"
"Welllllll..." responded Lavender hesitantly, "Onoza's escaped from Dark Water Asylum and he's coming to get your family because your mum did something - I'm not sure what - but something to upset him."
