Dark Ghosts

We all have our ghosts

the things we hide in the floorboards of our closets

our demons laying beneath our eyes

the guilt we all carry

the dark ghosts we try so hard to forget about

the dark ghosts we do not know of

while trying to cover up their exsistence

they mock us

fill our every thought

we deal with them in different ways

with a razor

with a gun

with a smile

it matters not,

the dark ghosts are here, in all of us

and here to stay they are
