I was in pain.
My abominable area... the area of my pancreas...
I dry heaved in a toilet, clutching my stomach. This was much worse than my period cramps, which was saying a lot.
I shuddered on the cold bathroom floor.
My mother found me slumped in front of the toilet, on the brink of unconsciousness. Sweat beaded my forehead, and every now and then, my body was wracked with spasms.
I don't remember too much of that day.
Flashes of red and blue lights.
A keen wail of sirens.
People moving around me, gentle but firm hands gripping mine and touching my body as they tried to know what was wrong with me.
What exactly happened.
