"Mom, please," I struggled to sit up. "The hoodie."
"Stay down," my mom firmly pushed me back down on the bed.
I used to be stronger than my mom.
But now, she easily overpowered me and I yelped in pain.
"You need to conserve your energy," my mom said.
"I hate this," I seethed, tears forming in my eyes. "I'd much rather die after one day of living than die after a week of just staying still."
"Don't be selfish," my mom replied. "I'd much rather know my daughter is still alive than doing something reckless before dying."
I wasn't selfish, Mom.
My time was running out.
My mom was the selfish one.
But... I was selfish in a way.
I wanted to see you one last time, Park Jimin.
One last time.
