{the reader is babysitting her 4 year old cousin while her mother and aunt go on a vacay. the neighbor clearly doesn't know what time it is.}

-reader's pov-
"(Y/N)! read me a bedtime story" my lil cousin said while hopping into his bed. "You promised" he gave me puppy eyes how could I resist. "Fine but after this your going to bed it's already past your bedtime" I gave in sitting on the edge of his bed. Not even 2 minutes into the story he was knocked out snoring lightly. I kissed his head and exited out of his room, turning out the light on the way out.

-30 minutes later-
I looked at the time on my phone it read 12:59 damn almost 1 am and I couldn't sleep. Tossing and turning I finally got in a comfortable position and felt my heavy eyelids slowly close. Then all the sudden I hear music blasting next door. "What the fuck." I say to myself while getting off the couch to look out the window and see the neighbors throwing a huge party. I quickly slip my slides on and walk out the front door making my way over to the house, almost stepping on a guy passed out drunk in the driveway. I went up to the door and pounded on it hard 'I'm gonna kill them if they wake up my cousin' I though to myself. I waited 30 seconds before someone opened up the door. A guy with pink and blonde dreads. "Yo can I help you?" He asks "I don't remember inviting you ma" I look at him "you're right you didn't invite me, I'm babysitting my cousin next door and he's trying to sleep and all this shit goin on over here isn't helping." I reply bluntly. "Damn attitude. You on your period or sum?" He scoffs. That's it, I slapped him and stomped my way back to my house. I walk in and kicked off my slides, after about 10 minutes the music got louder and my lil cousin came downstairs holding his blanket and stuffed animal "I'm sorry that the neighbors are dumb honey" I pick him up walking over to the couch and sitting down with him, watching some spongebob and other shows on the flat screen tv.

Another couple hours go by it's 5am my cousin fell asleep at around 3. I get up slowly walking to the kitchen to make me something to eat. I make me a grilled cheese sandwich, I flip the sandwich in the pan, there's a knock on the door. "who the fuck?" I go open to door and see it's the neighbor, pink dreads and all. "can I help you?" I put my hand on my hip. "I just wanted to say sorry about earlier" he looked at me sadly ,but I wasn't buying it. "Mmhm sure" I slam the door in his face and go back to cooking.
