-reader's pov- Over the past 2 days me and Jahseh have gotten a lot closer but there's one thing he said to me that kinda hurt. He couldn't fall in love with a mortal. Meaning he couldn't fall in love with me. He knows I have a crush on him because he can always read my mind whenever he feels like. Ugh this sucks. I lay in my bed, staring at the wall trying to think of something else but the thought of Jahseh kept popping up. All the sudden his figure shows up in the corner of my room. "You okay?" He asks? I ignore him. I can't stand talking to him especially when I'm in love with him but I can't have him. It hurts too much. "(Y/N)" he speaks again. Once again no reply. "We've talked about this.." he sits beside me on the bed. I couldn't help but cry. Letting the warm tears run down my cheeks, I hate being like this. "Jah, just go away" by now I'm sobbing makeup running down my face. "Now (Y/N) you know damn well I can't just disappear. I'm here to help you and protect you, I can't fall in love with you." He states. "Fine" I sigh. My phone buzzed. I look at it and see it's my best friend Inez.
Inez: hey girl I really need your help rn, me and my man are going out and his buddy wants to come, so you should totally come a long. It would be a double date.
me: yeah girl. Getting ready now.
I'll show Jahseh..
I look around and don't see Jahseh, I get up and start getting ready.

I finish getting ready and I look hella fine. I look in the mirror and see Jah behind me "I already know what your doing, and if I were you I'd stay home." I just look at him through the mirror "yeahhh no." I reply grabbing my purse and heading downstairs. "Mom I'm going out! I'll be home by 10:30!" I yell before exiting my house. I got a feeling in my stomach but I brushed it off as Inez pulled up. I hop in the car sitting in the back with Inez's man's buddy .(a/n: that shit sound confusing but oh well 😂) his name was James, he was cute but not as cute as Jahseh. Oops. We pulled up to a bowling alley "just letting y'all know, imma smoke all y'all" Inez says laughing, we all get out of the car and go inside. Once again that feeling came up but it wouldn't go away. 'C'mon man' I thought then I heard his voice in my head "(Y/N), listen to me" I ignore it. But the voices kept going. "Earth to (Y/N)!!" I snap out of it. "You good?" James asks I nod in response. "I gotta use the bathroom really quick, I'll be back." I start walking to the bathroom. But I wasn't alone as soon as I go to walk into the ladies bathroom I get pushed against the wall, it was James. "I told you so" I heard Jah say. Ugh!. I try to push James off of me but he was too strong. All the sudden I feel the weight lifted off of me. I open my eyes and I don't see James anywhere I look down at my feet and see a trail of blood leading to the janitors closet. I was scared but curious at the same time. I walk over the closet and slowly twist the knob, opening it. I see James, his throat was slashed open in the shape of the letter X.
I quickly slammed the door walk back. Oh my god Jahseh killed him. I couldn't believe it better yet know what to do. I didn't even tell Inez bye I had to get home, I don't wanna do this anymore. I caught a bus home, I payed the bus driver and took a seat in the very far back I need some time to myself. "I'm sorry you had to see that (Y/N)" I look up and see Jah, his hands were bloody. Nobody else saw him but me. I nod, I was still speechless.
I make it home and rush upstairs to my room. I already see Jah sitting on my bed. "I should've listened to you" A tear slipped from my eye. He looks up and pulls me too him, his touch was cold but honestly I didn't care anymore. "I want you to take this" he takes off his chain from around his neck and puts it on me. "I'm confused" I look at him "I love you so much (Y/N)" all the sudden he kisses me. I couldn't help but kiss back. "We will meet again someday, I promise even though I'm a demon I'll still watch you." I started to cry again. He kisses my cheek. "Goodbye (Y/N)" he suddenly disappears. I kept crying. Until my little brother walks in "sissy why are you crying!?" He runs and hugs my leg. I pick him up and he looks at the chain around my neck. "Ooooo" he touches it. "What?" I ask. He keeps playing with it "my imaginary friend has one just like it his names Jahseh." He explains.
