As I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to tell Kells I was going out, I was hit by the strong aroma of onion and garlic being fried.
"Umm, Chef Kells?" I asked
"Yes princess,"
"What are you doing?"
"Cooking," he announced "Stir fry. I am cooking stir fry for us all,"
"That's great. Listen I'm heading over to Dani's to help her get ready for a date but I'll be back to eat your master stir fry,"
"Okay, have fun," He replied, barely looking up from his chopping board
"I love you," I said, walking up to him and giving him a hug from behind. It wasn't as cute as when he did it, because he was a lot taller than me, but I was trying. He turned his head so that our faces were millimetres apart from each other, and gave me a quick peck. Even these small actions still made my heart flutter whenever they occurred.
"I love you too. Also have you started packing for Barbados yet?"
"No. Oh fuck we're going next week," I realised. I knew this trip was going to be amazing, maybe not as amazing as Bermuda because I got engaged and pregnant but it would still be incredible "Wait what day are Pete and Ariana coming?"
"Sunday. I don't have to be on set until next month so don't worry about the work thing," Kells explained
"No I was thinking. We leave on the Tuesday, right? So instead of Cas going to stay with Ash, why doesn't she stay here and then they can look after her?" I suggested. It would be easier not having to pack up all her stuff and probably better for Ashleigh as she already has a baby so probably doesn't need another kid running around her house, no matter how much of angel she is
"You're so smart, Chloe Baker you are a genius," He exclaimed. Chloe Baker. Not Chloe Hale, Chloe Baker.

Dani had an apartment in Beachwood, close to where Zack and I grew up and where my parents still live, Shaker Heights.
"You know my parents live around here," I told Dani as I curled the back of her hair
"Yeah, Zack told me,"
"Isn't it kind of weird that you two are going to get it on 5 minutes away from my parents house?" I pointed out
"Ew, shut up. Okay do you like this dress?" Dani asked me, holding up a black lacy number
"Not with that bra,"
"Why not?" She asked me
Way too much lace. Try on the red one," I replied, gesturing to a red bodycon dress that was hanging up. Dani put it on and looked amazing "You look great,"
"But if I eat too much salt and get bloated then it's not cute," She pointed out
"Okay true but red is so your colour. Do you have anything else?" Dani thought for a second, before grabbing a red silk slip dress and putting it on. The black lacy bra that she was wearing added an extra detail and stopped it from being boring, and she put on black velvet heels. "No,"
Dani groaned "Why? What's wrong with this one?"
"You look too good," I told her. Dani smiled
"Really?"
"Yes you look so hot. My brother is lucky to be going on a date with you. You look fit as hell,"
Dani blushed "Oh stop it,"
At that moment, her buzzer went "He's here!" I screamed. Dani buzzed him and I ran to the door to open it "Okay before you say anything I'm standing in for the role of Dani's parents," I explained to my brother "And... begin," I said
Zack laughed "Hi, nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Neale. I'm Zack and I'm here to pick up your daughter for our date tonight," he said, shaking my hand "Also break scene this is the first time I'm seeing you pregnant and you look great,"
"Thanks! You know what I can't be bothered to do this anymore. Dani are you ready?" I shouted back to her
"Coming!" She replied. Zack and I heard her heels clacking through the apartment towards us. When Zack's eyes widened, I knew to turn around. Dani looked absolutely stunning, and I felt proud to be her friend, and proud that my brother was dating her. She saw Zack and blushed as a smile spread across her face, making her look even more incredible, as she had a beautiful smile.
"You look... wow. You're; she's; oh my god. Dani you, you're gorgeous," Zack finally managed to splutter.
Dani giggled "Thank you. And thank you, Chloe,"
"You're welcome, babe. Have her home for 11, mister," I joked. Watching them leave was amazing, I almost felt like a proud parent watching the kids go off to prom. Zack took Dani's hand and led her towards his car; he opened the door for her and helped her into it. I had never seen him be so chivalrous before, it made my heart glow with pride knowing that my little brother was evidently falling for my beautiful friend.
