The rest of the day seemed to go smoothly. Angelica had to make up a lie to her sisters and say that the entire dilemma was a joke. Eliza didn't seem to buy it, but Peggy did. One out of two was good enough by her standards of siblings.

She figured maybe she was loosing her mind and she knew she just had to clear her head and not focus on the days behind her. This was the present and she had to embrace it. Today was also the start of spring break and as a college woman she'd cherish the vacations days she still gets because she knew in a few years that won't be the case. Angelica woke up and did her normal routine. She got up, brushed her teeth, made her bed, and placed on her outfit. Today she decided to go with something simple: a rose pink blazer, a light orange tank top, and a brown skirt with matching leggings. She placed her hair up, wrapping it in a bun while some of her curls fell to frame her face. Yes she admits it is a little change from her usual classy style, but she was going out with her sisters today so this once she decided to loosen up.

"Okay but before we go anywhere, I want a Frappuccino. There's a coffee shop downtown." Eliza said as she smiled in her blue floral blouse and white skirt. Unlike her other sisters, she always had her hair down with only apart of it clipped back so the strands won't get into her eyes.

"Daddy said not to go downtown." Peggy chipped into the conversation while she came out of the bathroom whilst placing her hair up in a ponytail where the poof showed in the back. She had a light dab of yellow eyeshadow and a clean spread of lipgloss against her lips. She wore some jean shorts and a simple yellow flannel.

"Daddy doesn't need to know~" Angelica winked at her sister with mischief. "Besides we're three independent women in a modern world." She spread her arms apart to exemplify her words towards her siblings. "We are entitled to do things on our own. Daddy needs to understand that."

"Well just as long as we're back by sundown." Peggy rolled her eyes as she grabbed her phone from the nightstand which was plugged into the charger. She removed the cord and pocketed it in her jeans.

"And if we're not, you're free to go." Eliza smiled proudly as she grabbed her purse and began to head out.

The three sisters traveled downtown by car with Angelica as the driver. Eliza was in the passengers seat while Peggy was stuck having to be in the back. "Are we there yet?" The youngest sister groaned as she leaned her head back against the seat.

"For the fifth time. No." Angelica replied a little vexed. They were in New York City after all and the traffic was horrible. "We have a few more blocks to go."

To kill time the middle sister had placed on the bluetooth from her phone to put a song from Miranda: An American Musical.

How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore
And a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished,
In squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?

Angelica's eyes glisten and her smile widened as she heard the familiar tune she adored. "Eliza, have I ever said how much I love you?"

"Hm.. I don't know. Maybe?" She grinned playfully towards her sister, while the other one chipped in.

"Of course. Eliza's your favorite." She leaned her elbow against the door as she stared at the buildings they had passed by.

"Peggy! That's not true. I love you both equally." Angelica said defensively.

"Sure Angie. Whatever you say."

"What do I have to do to prove it to you?"

"Ice cream. Buy me ice cream and I'll believe you." She peered to her sister.
