Scavenger-A Reylo story

Disrespect

There were turbulences and the Falcon was shaking. Rey who had no idea of what was going on headed to Leia :
"Leia what's happenin..."she didn't have the time to finish her question that a turbulence projected her to the wall, and she slowly slipped against the wall and she found herself lying on the floor .

Everyone started laughing at her and  Rey tried to get up. Laughs were getting noisier.

"Ok, ok, that was funny ... Could you all stop laughing at me, please ?"

"Sometime when your ship is on hyperspace it can shake, and as you just experienced"Leia was trying to hide her laugh "it can shake really hard, perhaps being dangerous".

Everyone in the room was starting to get calmer; but there was still smirks on their faces which betrayed their amusement.
Although it annoyed Rey to have ridiculed herself in front of members of Resistance, she was happy that despite all they've been through, happiness and hope were still here.

"So Rey, what do you think about telling us everything that happened since the last time we saw each others"Leia said.

"Uh,ok...."Rey started as her, Leia and some other members of the Resistance took a seat"First thing first I went on Ahch-To to find Luke ..."

"Good afternoon Supreme Leader"said the generals in unison.

The meeting room was dark and dimly lit. There was something that Kylo Ren was really fond of : being able to stare at the endless galaxy full of stars. Fortunately for him the room had a huge window which allowed him to have a wonderful view on the galaxy.
Everyone in the room acknowledged him:
"Good morning Supreme Leader "

But Kylo Ren didn't answer. Rude boy. He sat in his seat.

"So...Since the events that happened on Crait. We have to find the Resistance and give them the punishment they deserve". Hux started

"I guess that's why we are here"started Kylo "the real problem is how are we going to find them."

The room went silent suddenly.

"Come on, we are not going to seat here like idiots waiting for someone giving an idea..." The Supreme Leader finally spoke out.

"Our hyperspace tracker has been destroyed when their main ship sliced the Dreadnought in two". reminded one of the generals.

"Which means that our chances of finding them are few"continued another one.

"I don't doubt that. They must be very far from us right now..."affirmed Kylo.

"That's why I told you not to get distracted when we were on Crait" blamed Hux. Kylo ignored him.

"Nevertheless, I have an idea. We can offer a big amount of money to anyone who will have any information on their location or intentions; there are a lot of greedy people in that galaxy. People who could do anything for money."he suggested.

Everyone except Hux nodded in affirmation.

"Supreme Leader, the Resistance isn't stupid: they know that we will do everything in our power to find
them, including offering money in return of information. If they stay on a planet, it will be for a while. Not longer."protested Hux.

"Or that's what they expect us to think, The Millennium Falcon is an old piece of junk, they won't be able to fly with it forever."replied Kylo.

"As long as they can refuel the Resistance will do with the Millennium Falcon".Hux said.

Kylo Ren didn't know what to say. Hux had a point. He knew he was right.

"All of this wouldn't have happened if you wouldn't have got distracted"
Kylo gave Hux a death glare.

"If you wouldn't have let your personal interests interfere with your mission we wouldn't be in that situation."Hux said
in an accusing tone.

"You don't deserve to be the Supreme Leader. Oh! And you can also add to the 'what I should have done' list, that you could have impede the girl of killing Snoke and his guards."Hux adding in-now- a mocking tone.

It was too much. Kylo could not restrain himself anymore.
He started to choke Hux and lifted him off the floor -at a height of approximately 2 meters- and told him with his most threatening voice :

"Don't you dare talking to me like that again"

After that Kylo Ren let Hux fall down on the floor. He heard muttered grunts of soreness. He turned around and saw Hux lying on the floor his white face covered with nosebleeds.

'I maybe went a little too far ...Nevermind. He deserved.'Kylo thought.

All of the generals in the room who were present and saw what happened promised to themselves to never be disrespectful to the Supreme Leader.
I think nobody's wondering why.
