you just went through a bad break up. As you go to run, a strange man who may have been following/ watching you saves you and takes you to his secret hiding place. (I wrote something similar to this in high school. wanted to change it up a bit)
You and Asher walk out side to try and find a hitch. You notice the guy that was In the store just a few feet away from the store. Asher holds your hand and pulls you close to him. He was a gentleman when he wanted to be. He made you walk on the inside of the side walk and he was walking closer to the street. He had his thumb out waiting for someone to notice him, but the couple cars that were out just drove by. You heard click clat of heals behind you getting closer. "Hey! You guys need a ride?" A man screamed behind. Change in POV (yours)
Asher and I turned around and saw the same man catching up to us.

The rain started to fall heavier and louder. We hurried and found a door way of some ones town home to stand under. "I can offer you two a ride home if you'd like? My car is just around the corner" he yeld over the loud rain. "That would be great-" "but we live in Pasadena. It's quite a few miles from here" you interrupted Asher. "Nonsense. I do not mind at all. You two wait here. I'll drive around". The guy pulled the collar of his coat closer to his neck and lightly jogged down the side walk and around the corner to a dark alley. I stood there with Asher as close as I could to him. Then I heard a loud rumble. It didn't help that it echoed off the buildings. A 1957 chevy bel air pulled out and around the corner and parked in front of us. The same guy got out with a big umbrella and walked towards us. "This way" the guy held the umbrella over us and held out his other hand to gesture to walk with him to the car. He opens the back door for us. I got in first then Asher sat next to me. The guy closed the umbrella and got in the driver's seat.

"So you said Pasadena?" The guy said looking at me with sparkling greenish blue eyes and a smile. "Ye-" "yes" Asher interrupted me this time as if he saw the guy started to be a little flirty with me. Asher combed back his hair with his hands and put his seatbelt on. I couldn't find the other half of mine. "Excuse me sir? I can't find my seatbelt." The guy opened his door than walked over to mine. "It's here. I am sorry miss. It was caught in the door" the guy said with a little chuckle. He leaned over me and buckled the seatbelt around my waist. (Since it wasn't over the shoulder in that car) I could feel Asher giving us the stare as if he got even more jelouse. The guy pulled my belt tight and looked at me and paused. "Alrighty then" he stood up. "Shall we get going?" He climbed back into the driver's seat and started the car. We eventually head on the main road and out of the city. "So bridge or tunnel?" He asked me. "It's quicker to go over the bridge. They're probably cleaning the tunnels at this time. There's going to be a delay in traffic" i answered his question as I stared out my window. "Indeed. I like your thinking miss" the guy said with a smile still on his face. We eventually get to the toll to get on the Key Bridge. Asher took money out of his pocket and handed it to the guy. "No need good sir. I have this fancy gadget called a EZpass. It's pretty cool. See-" he drives through the toll "-It just scans my plate and knows who I am" the guy said with amazement. I look over at Asher as he sits back in his seat and rolls his eyes. Eventually we cross over the bridge. "It's this first exit here then at the light make a left and becarful there's this light that everyone likes to pass through. Then at the next light make another left and keep going straight on fort smallwood road" I tried to give the cleanest direction, I hope he knew what i was saying. Eventually I get to my house and it had stopped raining. He gets out and opens my door for me. Asher is already at the garage door punching in the key. " thank you uhh... I'm sorry. I don't know your name" I said as I gazed into his eyes. "He looked over at Asher who already went inside. He looked back at me and hugged me. "You're welcome any time (y/n)" he let go and looked at me with those smiling eyes. "How did... i... neve-" "It's loki. And yes i knew your name. Here's my card if you have any trouble" he said to me as I gave him a confused look. I walked inside the garage and watched him go down the street then I closed the garage and locked the door.
