Chapter Two IT'S...?!

Niles turned at the call of his name and his eyes widened. It's been so long since that day they split their ways and just like destiny they cross paths once more. Niles then send him his cocky signature smirk and raised his bow.

Niles' crew members saw his signal and halted at sight looking at their Captain and Joshua standing up, proceeded to do the same.

The crew members gathered at this familiar sight, it was a show down! A battle between Captains!! Or so they thought.....

Niles and Joshua started laughing and the sailors were all like, D'Fuq?

Niles and Joshua clasped their hand together as it was their way of greeting each other.

"Welcome aboard Captain Joshua, it's been a while. You know you could've just hollered right? I see you're still your reckless self." Having his laugh echo louder while Joshua scoffed at his long lost companion's remark.

"Says the one who was about to kill me, you moron."

"Aye~ That hurt Captain~" Niles retorted with a small fake whine making Joshua just roll his eyes.

"Care to explain Captain?" The crew said in union sweat dropping.

And with that, Niles gave his biggest, sly, closed-eye smiles,  giving Joshua a side-hug.

"Captain Joshua and I have been companions for that crooked Black Fang Gang."

The crew gasped, as a sailor approached closer, "B-But mey Captain, the Black Fang is one of the greatest sailors there is with all due respects sir, why did you leave?"

Joshua tiched at the sailor's lacking sense of adventure.

"We ditched their asses so WE can become the greatest sailors ourselves! However, it was so rushed we got separated in the process."

The sailors awed at their Captains bravery of rebelling against one of the greatest sailors there is to existence.

To bad we left without touching her ass....would've enjoyed a night with her, both Niles and Joshua thought in unison at the thought of their past sexy captain.

And with that Joshua broke out from the hug and reached inside his coat for a small bag. It was the bag that Joshua had won earlier from his bet and handed it to Niles without response, walking away.

He signaled his crew off towards his ship with the wave of his hand.

"Well Niles, now that reunion is over we'll be heading out now."

It took Niles to react for a bit at what the gambler just did and ran towards him.

"What? Hey, hold on where do you think you're going!"

"To my ship."

"Tch. Nah shit! Joshua do you know how long I have waited for this moment?!"

"Not a clue."

"Joshua you promised and swore to me that we'd be the greatest sailors!"

And that made Joshua halt.

Truth to be told, he did forget and blushed red. Idiot, how can I forget! He coughed and straightened out himself, but his back still facing Niles.

"I, uh..thought you forgotten about it Niles...that is all." He did a slight gulp.

"I would never even dream about it and a promise is a pr-"

"Niles look," Joshua cut him off. "Look at us, we have our own ships, our own everything, and have been doing good now separate. It seems very clear that you don't need someone.... You don't need me.." He whispered the last part with a bit hurt.

Niles clenched his fists not wanting to have his friend abandon him again for good, stomping his way over to him, and grasped his shoulder.

"How about a small wager by the toss of a coin I choose tails~" Niles cooed as an irk mark appeared on Joshua's forehead at the use of his exact quote against him. Hey buddy that's my line!

"Fine, lets test your luck Niles~" Joshua said with a smirk as he took out his "lucky" golden coin as all the sailors gathered again to see the match. Heh, he won't even see it coming, this coin has heads sealed on both sides! I'll defiantly win this one!! "Then I chose heads then." And Joshua flipped the coin high up in the air only to have Niles grasp it mid air and tossed it out in the open sea!?

"D'FUQ HAPPENED?!" The Crew members yelled in unison, gasping as they were blown out of their minds!

"HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT THE HELL IS MY PROBLEM!? IM NOT THAT STUPID EITHER!!" Niles yelled as it looked like their foreheads emitted a shock wave as they grunted at each other.

"THAT THING HAD HEADS ON BOTH SIDES YOU CHEATER!"

Joshua huffed and let out a bitter laugh. "I guess you caught me cheating huh?"

Niles was beyond pissed and violently yanked Joshua up his face.

"LOOK HERE YOU-"

"Aye! Captain calm down!" A sailor butted in, cutting their physical contact.

"Captain Niles, he won't c-cheat this time around, right Captain Joshua sir?" He stuttered, nervously laughing with a pleading face. Oh please, oh please sir, please!! Let us not live under his wrath.

"Whatever."

Niles already cooled down at this point and proceeded in continuing with the small wager.

"If it's heads you're free to go and do whatever you want Joshua, but if it's tails you'll lend me your aid and become one with me just as your promised. Deal?"

"...Deal"

"Do us the honor." Niles threw a glance at the sailor and he nodded, taking out a coin. He showed both sides of the coin to prove it had both HEADS AND TAILS.

"Here is goes Captain!" The sailor cheered and flipped the coin up a dramatic amount in the air and stepped out of the way to see the coin hit the wooden floor spinning rapidly.

Everyone whispered their bets on which Captain would win.

 Cling!

"EYYYY IT'S TAILS!! HA PAY UP JOSHUA SAILORS!"

"HA! In Your face Josh, welcome back buddy!" Niles threw his arms around a soured face Joshua.

"L-Let go you fool!"

"A deal is a deal!"

"Ugh...pay up boys."

The sailors groaned as they emptied their pockets to the ones who bet that Niles would win.

"Happy?"

"Yes!"

Joshua groaned as everyone cheered for their Captain's new crew joining in. At least their chores will be done faster. Hmm I guess it won't be that bad.. Captain Joshua thought as he gave a small soft smile.

It's just like the old days.....
