Chapter 13 Let The Games Begin

Each Captain agreed to sail till midday as they each kept count with their own hour glasses. They were no longer able to catch sight of the village and as the last grain of sand filtered through, it was time to battle and the sun...and the sun? W-Where's the sun?

"Hey Sonya, I don't have a good feeling about this.."

"Silence Saber, don't tell me you're afraid of the boat rowing, get ready for battle."

"Ah! Where did this wind come from?"

"Lady Nino, watch your step." Jaffar caught Nino's tumbling body.

"Ursula there's a thunder storm brewing in!"

"No matter, get in your positions now!!"

And Lloyd tched in annoyance and did as he was asked.

Joshua's eyes widened at the sight after looking through his telescope.

"That's no thunderstorm, it's probably one of the strongest hurricanes I have ever laid eyes on." Niles spoke rather calmly as Joshua turned around stomping towards him.

He forcefully grabbed Niles pulling him to eye level, "You moron! You knew about this didn't you?! ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US ALL KILLED!!!??!"

"ATTACK!!" And with Niles' order, the fighting started. All three ships started to fire cannons and flew in with ropes to invade the ships.

"NO SIEZE FIRE! SIEZE FIRE!!"

"Sorry Joshua, I had a plan for us to get it through, but if you're against this, then consider me as an enemy then." But as Niles was about to release his arrow, he was pushed away by Nino's spell attack.

"No way you two are gonna kill yourselves, we do the killing around here!"

"And so do we!!" Saber tackles towards Nino only to be intercepted by Jaffar.

"Back off Nino, these two are mine." Ursula says meanincingly as she whirls up a spell.

"As if!" Sonia strikes Ursula with a strong spell attack that sends her sliding across the floor.

Niles stands off against Lloyd as Joshua stands there gritting his teeth, No this can't be true, what she said, that stupid mermaid meant Niles? And a crack of lightning snapped him out of his trance.

He loses his balance and falls down to the floor trying to avoid hits from the other sailors as it started to rain and the boat began to violently thrash against the waves.

Sailors began to drown as the waves carried them away and the Captains held on to what they could tightly still trying to battle, but alas they were up against a wave shadowing over them and they all looked up to it in fear.

SPLASH! CRACK! The boat was destroyed by the monstrous wave, engulfing everyone.

No...I trusted you Niles, how could you, how could you..... Joshua thinks as he loses conscience and only catches a glimpse of a shadow swimming towards him.
