Chapter 8 Unwanted Encounter

Joshua kept his eye on the two and patted Niles, inching closer to him, whispering worriedly.

"Ditch it already you're making a ruckus, we need to get out of here now."

"Ahh don't worry I got this in the bag, so get ready to run."

"One"

"What are you-"

"HEY IM TALKING TO YOU! HAND OVER THE MERCHANDISE IF YOU'RE NOT PAYING!"

"Two"

"Niles sto-"

"Three!" The archer exclaimed running out with STOLEN merchandise and Joshua gasped and glared at his comrade, sprinting after him.

Anna at disbelief, yelled for assistance from the royal guards.

"GAURDS! GAURDS! OVER THERE GOES THE THIEVES!! BRING BACK MY YEAR'S WORTH OF SALARY!!"

Villagers scurried away trying to avoid the chase of the two thieves and whispered around spreading rumors. This caught the attention of a certain youngster in the group. Joshua's timing was bad, as he looked back to be greeted with a glare by that very person, making him flinch, and quickly looked away.

"Niles you idiot, now look at what you have done!"

"I spy with my little eye, some traitors....lets go Jaffar."

The Jaffar lad nodded and the two disappeared within the crowd.

"It's just guards Joshua no big deal!" Niles huffed in response.

"That's the least of my worries, the Gang is here!"

"WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THIS EARLIER!"

"BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO BUSY BEING A PIMP AND NOT LISTENING!"

The two took a sharp turn on a hidden alley, having the guards being so behind, they did not notice, and passed straight, ignoring the alley.

"Well maybe if you told me WHY, I WOULDNT HAVE STOLEN ANYTHING!"

"I CAN'T JUST SAY THEIR NAME OUT, CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND CODE WORDS!?"

The two whispered yelled as they both got onto an argument guilting the other, when they stiffed in place at the sound of a giggle.

"I always knew you two had a thing of each other~ Don't you agree Jaffar?"

The green haired girl said in a mockingly way while Jaffar stood there emotionless.

"Whatever you say lady Nino."

The two gulped at the sight of Nino and her follower Jaffar.

"Aww..cat caught your tongue? Aren't you going to say hi to me? Oh you two are some big meanies."

"Where are your manners." Jaffar responded bluntly.

Niles shifted in place and elegantly bowed to Nino nervously.

"Ah yes I apologize m'lady Nino, pleasure to see you again, however reunions over, we'll be taking our leave now."

And as the two were about to walk out, a wall of green swords blocked their way as they sweat dropped. Oh dang, it's about to get real...

"Oh, you're not going anywhere, I want a play date with you two."

With that, Niles and Joshua drew out their weapons being on guard, noticing that she wasn't playing around. Both sides didn't move a muscle doing a show down.

"Lets settle this here and now." Nino said mode toned as Jaffar with high speed, charged against Joshua, their weapons clashing.

Nino started to cast spells against Niles, as he dodged with ease, and threw multiple arrows, one being a killer shot. Jaffar's eyes widened and tackled Nino out of the way, but still managing to make a scratch on her arm.

Jaffar was beyond pissed at the small scar Niles managed to do.

"Face it Jaffar, you're no match for me~"

"Shut it Niles, he's going to kill us!"

"Oh Jaffar please let me go, I'm having so much fun!" Nino pleaded only to be rejected.

"No is no lady Nino."

And with that, Jaffar took Nino's book, "I'm calling the others."

This was their chance and the Captains made a run for it.

"Jaffar no! That's going to take to long, look they're getting away!"

"Don't worry lady Nino they won't go far."

"Jaffar lets go!!"

"But you're hurt lady Nino.."

"Jaffar!!!"

Somewhere in town, someone noticed their necklace glowing and tapped on the shoulder of the person next to him.

"Do you think Nino is in trouble? We should go check it ou-"

"I doubt it, Nino is a strong girl and Jaffar is with her. Besides it's probably another one of Jaffar's exaggerated emergencies." The person cut in as he deadpanned at remembering the last few times Jaffar summoned them all was because Nino tripped on accident. She's got a point I guess....

"Those two amuse me though....lets take our time shall we Lloyd?" She purred walking towards the direction of the spell.

Lloyd sighed.

"Yes Captain Ursula.." And followed behind.
