Dreading.

Yes, dreading.

I was dreading going to school today and I sat on my bed racking my brain for a good excuse to skip school, with Tyler sitting in front of me; clearly annoyed.

"Katherine! Tyler!," my mom's voice filled the house, causing me to groan. "You're getting late for school."

Tyler sighed, getting up, "Okay. That's it. It's the third time mom's calling us. You're going to school. I'm waiting for you in the car. Be there in 10."

"Nooo," I whined, falling back on the bed.

I was already ready, since I knew this would happen.

Where are all the good excuses when you need them?

One thing I realized last night was that you never tell a guy how you feel if you're to see him the next day and everyday for the next two years.

Now how the hell was I supposed to face him without wanting myself to drown or be buried in the ground?!

Plucking up all my courage and what little was left of my dignity, I dragged myself downstairs and into the car.

"Where are we going?," I asked, as Tyler drove towards the opposite side if school.

"To pick up Nat," he replied.

"Oooohh," I hooted, wiggling my eyebrows.

"Please don't say anything to her. She's already hesitant considering you're her friend. I don't want her to get worried over your reaction."

"I'm not saying anything."

"Good."

Nat was already waiting for us in front of her house. Sitting behind Tyler's seat, she smiled at both of us, "Hey Katy. Hey Ty."

"Hey," we both said in unison.

As Tyler rode towards school, I could see him constantly looking in the rear view mirror and smiling.

"Oh God. Enough with the eye flirting. I can see you both and I'm not going to kill you for being together," I announced.

"Um," Natalie's cheeks flushed red and she looked down so that her hair could cover it up.

"Stop the car Tyler," I said, grabbing my bag.

"What?," he briefly looked at me, with his brows knitted.

"I said stop the car," I stated, getting out as Tyler pulled to a stop.

"Nat, get out," I pulled the door behind Tyler open.

"What?," she looked at me as if I had grown two heads.

"Well. If you two are going to be together, you might as well sit in the front seat," I sat behind Tyler, pushing Nat out the other door.
