We get back to my car and I figure we want to eat somewhere that’s less populated and I know just the place. There’s a restaurant by my house that I’ve gone to for as long as I can remember. The food isn’t 5 star or anything, but I like it. We get to the restaurant and as I park he takes off his mask and hat. We wait a few minutes so he can fit his hair into the style he likes and then go in to get seated.

“table for two?” the woman asks. I get slightly nervous because she looked to be about 30 but had that mom vibe, I don’t know why but I got the vibe that she had a young daughter. We oblige to what she said and followed her to our table. We sit down across from and each other a sense of relief sweeps over him when he realizes that there aren’t that many people here and the people who are here are older and or people that probably have no clue who he is.

“I had a really good day” he says

“had? I still have something planned. nothing major, but I figure you should see the city in all it’s glory before you leave” i say with a hint of mystery.

“I can’t wait. But I did have a really good day at the mall. I really miss being able to walk around and be normal, you know?” he says

“I get that. Well hopefully you’ll take these tricks with you and you can go to more malls. ahah” I reply

We order our food and it comes pretty quickly. We’re only making small talk right now because I just feel like this isn’t the place to have a deep intense conversation because we’re sitting pretty close to people, plus where I’m taking him next is the perfect place to unwind and have a chat. I don’t know why I’m so eager to actually talk to him. I just really want to know more of him and listen to him. I feel like a lot of people talk to him and with him but i get the vibe that there are very few that just listen, and I’m a great listener.

“oh my god. I am so full” i say not being able to take one more bite.

“will that be everything?” the waitress says

“yep! can I get the bill” I ask. I can feel harry’s eyes glaring at me, but I make a face at him reassuring him that I want to pay. I pay for the bill and we head out.

“thank you Miss Taylor” harry says cheekily. We get into my car and start driving to where I wanted to take him.

“so where are we going?” he asks

“it’s a surprise. it’s not a place as in a building, it’s just a place” I say and realize that was a little confusing. We have to go back downtown because where I’m taking him is around there. I start to get really excited because this is my favourite place ever and I never go here with anyone and I was just really excited. But I also start getting nervous because we have to be there at a certain time for it to be perfect. We finally make it downtown, passing his hotel and passing all the major buildings. My city is divided by a big river so we finally make it to the bridge to cross over to the other side.

“almost there” I say as I make a turn onto the road right next to the river valley. On our left where trees and the river valley and on the right where a bunch of tall apartment buildings and houses overlooking the river and our city. I park in the place where I always do when I come here.

“we’re here!” i say excitedly as I shut off my car. Harry gets off out of his side and get out of mine and we meet in the middle, we parked on the side of a busy road so right as i see a break in traffic I grab his and run telling him to come on. We cross the road and it’s a grassy stretch next to the road where a sidewalk would be with some trees. We walk along this fake path next to the road and then the trees break and there’s a little bench as we walk over the the bench I lose my breath at the sight I brought him to my favourite look out of the city. It was a bench that looked out to the whole skyline of my city, we ended up getting there at the perfect time. Everything was pink, yellow, orange and bright from the sun setting and reflecting perfectly on all the skyscrapers. It made me so happy looking at my city. It had it’s flaws in people but it will always hold my heart.
