I wake up laying on my back on Habit's arm. I gently roll over onto my side and bury my face against his strong chest. Listening to his heartbeat, I close my eyes. It is the most soothing and beautiful sound in the world.
He slowly wakes up, and I nestle closer to him.
"Last night was fun," he says in a raspy, deep voice.
I laugh softly. "Yeah, it was."
"Bending you over the desk was probably my favorite part," he says.
I gently smack him. "Keep things PG around here."
"Why? What have I ever done that was rated PG?" Habit laughs.
"Probably nothing," I joke.
Habit rubs my back and pulls me even closer. I feel him inching closer to me, and I don't want us to ever be separate. Any further apart than we already are.
"I love you," I say. "And I don't want to get any further away from you than we already are."
"I'm good with that, my little Rabbit," he says.
He leans forward and kisses me. I return his kiss, deepening it and exploring him with my mouth. Habit groans in satisfaction and runs a hand through my hair. I laugh into his mouth and wrap myself around him.
"I have a question for you," Habit says softly.
Then he climbs out of bed, and I flop onto my back. He chuckles at me.
"What?" I ask.
"You're too cute," he replies.
"I know."
Habit comes around to my side of the bed and takes my hand. I smile at him and he returns it.
"Y/n .... will you marry me?"
I sit bolt upright. "Yes!" It comes out before I can think. He grins.
"Really?"
"Really. I'd love to be Mrs. Habit."
He places a black diamond ring on my finger. And then he tackles me, laughing all the while, and kisses my lips. Hard and soft at the same time. I happily return it.
