I run downstairs, where Vinny sits at the table. He looks up as I jog in.
"Hey, y/n. What's up? I thought you were resting?"
"I am. I mean, I was. I, uh, have something to tell you and Habit. Where is he?"
"I'm right here," he says, emerging from the closet holding a knife in his hand. "What's wrong?"
"Well, I ... Firebrand is the one who helped me get out of wherever the hell I was. And he be told me something ..."
"Oh great," says Vinny. "Now what?"
Habit smacks him upside the head. "Let her talk."
I smile. "Habit, I'm pregnant."
His eyes widen and Vinny looks like a tomato at the moment - he clearly wasn't expecting that. Habit stares at me, and I wonder briefly if he's upset. But then he walks over to me, bends down, and kisses my still-flat(ish) stomach.
"Is that why you've been acting so odd and sleeping a lot?"
"Yeah, kinda," I say.
"So, let me get this straight. You two are having a baby?" Vinny says. "But Evan and Steph had a baby and Habit ...."
"I ate her. Get the fuck over it."
"But you won't with your own baby. Actually, it's babies, because I'm going to have twins."
"I'm gonna be a dad?" Habit says, his voice softer than ever. "Really?"
"Really," I say.
He walks over and kisses me hard on the lips. It's a hungry and desperate kiss, the heat between us making it all the better.
"Uh, guys? I'm still here," says Vinny.
"Yes, we know," Habit replies. "But y/n and I are having a moment, so if you could just shut the hell up for some time, that'd be great."
I give Vinny an apologetic look before kissing Habit again.
"I know that at least one is going to be a girl, and I want to name her Hope. Because you are my hope."
He throws his arms around me. "I don't deserve you, y/n."
"Yes you do."

I'm just confused about one thing - why'd Habit make Vinny shave his head? Or did Vinny want to look like a potato? Yes, I know he's a pissed off squash, Immapotatoe10 (aren't you the one who said that? I'm half-awake right now, don't judge.)
Plus I am emotionally wrecked from the ending of Agents of Shield so yeah ...
This was my best Halloween. And I owe it all to you guys, my family, my fandom. Thank you for giving me the most blessed Halloween I could have.
