The coldness in the cell is what wakes me up after I cried in Jeff's arms. But now, I am alone in the cell. There is dim light coming from somewhere and I can see my bruised and bloodied knuckles from when I struck out at the men who brought me here.
My hair is now long, and it's in my eyes as I sit up. That's when I see her. Ashley.
Ashley Benedict stands in the hallway just outside the cell, and she wears an awful smirk. I want to hit her. Hit her until she stops moving. She did this.
"If he dies, I'm going to make you wish you died with them."
She laughs. "Just because you can teleport doesn't mean you are powerful enough to stop me, or the inevitable. All good things must come to an end."
I get up and walk over to her. "You think you're all that because you have me and Jeff. But truth is, you're scared. And you should be. You know why? Because Habit's gonna kill you all."
"Habit, Habit, Habit. Always relying on Habit, aren't you? Did it ever occur to you that maybe he's not the saviour of you and your friends? That he is your doom?"
"Who are you? Why are you doing this to us?"
She smiles. "Because I can "
"Go die in a fucking hole, you bitch," I snarl.
She throws her head back and laughs.
"You really crack me up, y/n. It's probably best if you just die, as you are not going to get out of this alive and neither are your precious boys."
She presses herself against the cell door.
"Wanna know a secret?" she asks. "Actually, I will give you two. One, Habit's not the only demonic force in your life. And two? Hahaha, your beloved Vinny is already dead."
