Chapter 4 Niki
After 8 hour all together on a plane, we finally arrived in San Francisco. We were staying at a Holiday Inn just about 10 minutes from the island. We rented an Avalanche because we had lots of bags since we would be spending a month here.
Of Couse being the nice brother that he is, Jo (that’s my nickname for him) took the front seat and made me sit in the back with all of the bags.
When we first got into San Francisco, we took a walk and ended up in a Ghirardelli store. We bought tons of chocolate and we got sundays that were really good. Then we went to the trolley and took a ride on that to the City Lights Bookstore, there we read more books about Alcatraz.
While I was there I saw Joseph reading online about some underground pathway. So I went over to him and asked what he was doing.
“While we were on the plane I was reading a books and it said something about a legendary underground pathway, leading to a half-house. I wanted to find more about and then we can try and find out if it really exists.” He told me.
“Oh okay, how about you ask the librarian” I suggested.
He went over to the librarian as started asking her many, many questions. Once he was finished, he came over and told me everything. He told me that there was another way to access it where not many people would be and that there was a way to escape from the half-house. Jo seem uneasy after he talked to her, but it might have just been his anxiousness to get to the island so I forgot about it.
After the library we went back to the hotel, and went swimming.
