LOVE DEVOURS YOU
Love devours you.
All attention must be paid
Your time is wasted
For love. But what can you do?
Still, you'd fall again.
Over and over again
Never admitting
You're in love. You love too much
That's how you get hurt
Sticks and stones may break your bones
But love will hurt more.
No matter how hard you try
You are doomed to love,
For forever and ever.
Some have too much love
For one person, the world too.
That's why you get played
It gets worse and worse each time
How to suppress it?
And how to comprehend it
It's simple: You can't.
It's impossible. I've tried.
You can only love
And in loving you get hurt
You'd get hurt again
Again. More and more and more.
But you love to love
Everything comes with a price
And the price of love?
Simple, being devoured
Again, and again.
