37. SOCCER

Waking up in Noah's arms is great.  It is hard to believe that in a few months I will be doing this everyday.  I can't wait for that to happen.  I look at the clock and realize I have to get up and get ready to meet my advisor in two hour.  I lean over and kiss Noah and head into the bathroom.  I take a shower and wash my hair and shave my legs and pits for good measure. I get out and wrap a towel around me and wrap my hair up.  I then go to the sink and brush my teeth.  After making sure my hair is dry I put it up into a ponytail and head out into the room to get dressed.  While putting on my sports bra and panties I start to feel like I am being watched.  I grin and grab my shirt and drop it I bend over to pick it up and pull it over my head.  I hear him shift behind me.  I grin even bigger and grab my shorts and start to pull them up wiggling my hips as I drag them up my body.  Just as I have them in place I feel his arms around me and hear him say "you really think you are getting out of hear after that performance."  "Yeah, because you have practice."  "you knew" "yes" "you are so not fair" "go take a cold shower lover boy I will get breakfast."  As I was getting breakfast ready I hear the shower running and I reach for the phone on the counter and call Lee's room so I don't have to call the front desk just punch in the room number.  "Hello, shit headache."  I laugh "GET UP! Time for breakfast"  "Damn it Shelly I didn't get in till two last night you guys left at midnight."  "Not my fault you have a hangover get overhear.  I am making breakfast."  "I hate you twin"  "I love you bye"  "Fine bye"  All of a sudden I hear "Babe who is Marcus and why are you meeting him in an hour." "Oh, that is my advisor for Soccer he is going to show me around and let me get a workout in."  "Oh, ok"  I turn around and look at him and I notice his scroll. "Noah, why are you mad"  "I am not mad just curious."  "yeah right."  He grabs me "fine, I was a little jealous.  I didn't like seeing a text message from some guy confirming a meeting."  I giggle "oh, baby I love only you"  "Don't lye Shelly.  I know you love Lee as well."  "yeah, maybe more."  "Oh, no you didn't"  I take off running and he grabs me and throws me on the sofa and starts tickling me "take it back Shelly."  "No"  "take it back"  "fine I give I love you the most."  "that's better."  There is a knock on the door and Noah get's up to answer it and in walks Lee with his hand over his eyes saying "if there is anything grouse going on I don't want to see it.  You called me over so behave."  All of a sudden Noah says "oh, yes Shelly. Yes." Lee yells "seriously."  We all start laughing and he opens his eye's and says "not funny bro."  Rachel responds "I thought it was."

After breakfast, Noah and I head over to the sports complex while Lee and Rachel head over to MIT.  When we get there he looks down at my hand and get's pissed "Where the hell is your ring Shelly"  "the hotel safe why" "and why the hell is not on your finger."  "Hello, working out on the field.  It can cut someone or I can lose it.  Remember I will be sweating it slide off my finger.  I am not going to hold back.  I am here to prove myself."  "Oh, yeah sorry Shelly baby I forgot.  Ok, I just don't like seeing it not where it belongs."  "Don't worry Noah, everyone will know I am yours."  He grins and says "ok"  Leans down and kisses me and starts to kiss down my neck sucking and licking he pulls away looks down and says "ok, now you can go."  I look up at him and yell "oh, no you didn't Noah Flynn you so better not have done what I think you did."  He just grins and says "payback is a bitch."  with that he pulls down his collar and shows where I had left him a hickey.  "well yeah but I didn't mean to" "Yeah right Shelly baby keep telling yourself that I might believe you later."  "ahh, you know I hate you right now."  "I love you too Shelly now go to practice."  I shake my head and turn to go in when I see this guy looking at me chuckling "so, your Flynn's girl I am Marcus." "Yeah, You know him"  "no, not personally we have never really met but we all know of him around here he is an excellent backup QB"  "Yeah he was our star QB back home."  "Well let's get you into some shoes and hit the field."  "I have mine right  here."  "I like that the other girl didn't bring hers I had to lend her a pair."  "as my coach back home says always be prepared."

When we get on to the field we all go through the warm-up exercises and the other girl I was competing against kept complaining that they were too hard.  Every time she opened her mouth I felt like rolling my eye's.  After a while we started doing wind sprints, we ran around the field doing laps while dribbling a ball around.  I don't know how long we were going at it when Marcus called us up and said "OK, next we are going to have a minor scrimmage that will last ten minutes so I can see what each of you have.  Evans, you will be on the white team and Blake you will be on the red team. Oh, another thing if you make it we will have a jersey printed with your name on it so Blake you spell your name B-l-a-k-e correct."  "yes, sir."  "Evans that will be E-v-a-n-s correct." "correct spelling but wrong name sir."  "what do you mean Evans."  "Just that as of August 1st I will no longer be using Evans." "Oh, then what will it be and how do you spell it."  "Flynn F-l-y-n-n" "really Evans, well congratulations."  "thank you"

As the game starts up and I and Blake face off she looks me up down and I hear her say "you are going down." I just grin and wiggle my fingers at her as if to say bring it.  As she heads at me and I back up she grins just as the ball hits her feet and I charge forward and roll to the ground kicking the ball out from her legs and towards another of the players on my team who then proceed to kick it to me just as I get close to the goal and kick it in and score.  All the girls on my team-high five me.  I steal the ball after it is tossed in when it barely makes it on to the field.  Blake comes at me again and I slide down kicking the ball behind her before getting up and kicking another goal.  This kept going on and on for the entire scrimmage and I ended up scoring three goals with no penalties to her one and 3 penalties.  Marcus walks up to Blake and tells her something and she nods and walks off the field.  Next thing I know Marcus looks up at me and says "congratulations you are definitely on the team."  "Oh, Blake didn't make it."  "no, she did but she has some things to work on.  This was to see if you could play as a team."  "ahh ok."  This girl walks up and says "oh, Hi I am Sarah I am the team captain.  That is strange."  "what is"  "the football team they don't usually stay to watch our scrimmages."  I look over and shake my head "it's my fault my fiancée is on the team."  "Oh, well that explains it...oh, wait you mean you are that Flynn's girl."  "yep, the backup quarterback"  "lucky girl."  "Yeah, I am. well, I am off I need to hit the showers and get ready for tonight we are supposed to be going to dinner with his brother and his girlfriend. bye, Sarah."  "bye soon to be Flynn"
