The Kissing Booth Nightmare

43. RECEPTION

After we ran out of the church we rode around in the back of the limo for 30 minutes just holding each other.  I loved being in his arms staring up into his eyes.  As we pulled up to the reception hall he kissed me gently and asked: "So, Mrs. Flynn you ready to go into our family and friends."  "No, not really Mr. Flynn but I will do it for you."  As the driver opened the door Noah stepped out and turned to me helping me out of the car.  We walked in hand in hand and as we made it to the middle of the hall everyone stood up and cheered.  Noah led me over to our table and we sat down to eat our meal.  Of, course Noah and I chose the steak and potatoes dinner.  We talked to each other and had a hard time not just staring into each other's eyes.  

After a while, we are asked to make our way to the center of the dance floor for our first dance.  We had decided to dance to Peter Cetera's Glory of Love.  As Noah held me in his arms leading me around the dance floor I couldn't help but think that this song suited Noah and myself.  I look up at him and say "I love the fact you were always there to protect me, baby."  He smiled "Took you long enough to realize all those fights were for you and all the fights in the future will be for the same reason."  I smiled and told him "remember no more fights."  He spun me around and said, "I love you Shelly baby."  I put my head on his shoulder as the song came to an end and smiled knowing he was now mine forever.  I danced with my dad too I Loved Her First by Heartland.  While Noah danced with his mom.  I looked up at my dad after watching Noah dance with his mom and let the tears slide down my face.  He looked down at me and picked up my chin "oh, baby girl she would be so proud of you, and I know she would say you look beautiful.

After the dances, it was time for the toasts.

Lee:  Well as many of you know Shelly and I have been together since we were born.  We were raised as twins and we think of ourselves as such.  That is why when I found out my big bro had fallen in love with my best friend/twin I was not happy.  I didn't want her hurt since he had never taken any girls seriously before her.  Well, he proved me wrong.  Even though I was hard on you two, in the beginning, nothing makes me happier than to know you two are together and Shelly you are now an official part of my family I love you both with all my heart.  Oh, and bro hurt my twin I hurt you.

Rachel:  Who would have thought a friendship would start from a kissing booth.  I didn't know that night when I kissed Lee at that kissing booth I would gain not only a boyfriend but a female best friend and a big brother to boot.  Elle, Noah you two have been through some rough parts mainly because of my boyfriend but know you are made for each other I love you both.

Dad:  Baby, girl I will be speaking for all of us.  Yours and Noah's parents.  Yes, parents because that is how we all see you four.  I have one daughter but three sons as do the Flynn's.  I will admit when Noah here started to get in trouble I wanted you and Brad to be kept away from him but your mother told me not to do that.  She told me baby girl that you would be the one to touch his heart and change his world and I believe you did.  Noah, Elle we are so happy for the two of you.  Not only did you two find love but you found it in each other and brought our families closer together.  Oh, you two know that Mary is watching us right now and she couldn't be prouder of you two.

After all of that we cut the cake and of course, Noah just had to smash it in my face so I got my payback.  Then I tossed to the bouquet and to Lee's horror Rachel caught it especially since Lee caught it after Noah went under my dress and dragged it off my leg with his teeth.  The funny thing is the guys teased Lee to put in on Rachel the way Noah took it off of me which of course he did and I think for the first time someone blushed deeper than I did.  We said goodnight to everyone and ran out to the limo in a rain of birdseed.  Noah pulled me into his lap as the door closed and nuzzled my neck.  "I can't believe from now on get to wake up to you and go to sleep with you in my arms." "Same here baby.  I love you."  "I love you too."  

When we arrived at the hotel I grabbed a bag that was hidden in my suitcase so Noah couldn't see and went into the bathroom locking him out.  He knocks on the door "come on Shelly let me in so I can join you."  I hide what I had and let him come in for a quick shower but I tell him no hanky panky and I know it was driving him crazy that I only it be a regular shower.  Afterward I kicked him out and finished drying off before putting on the white bra and panty set with a garter belt and white stockings.  Then I slipped on the white baby doll nighty.  Right before I stepped out I slipped my heels back on opened the door and walked out into our bedroom.  He looked me up and down.  Growled and attacked me.  I knew I was not going to get hardly any sleep this night.  I didn't mind as long as I was with my Noah.
