I loved having Noah home. Things were starting to get better. I hadn't told anyone that once in a while I would wake up shaking from nightmares from the night I killed Justin. I was losing my mind trying to decide if I should tell Noah. So I decided to call Jason. When Noah was in the bathroom I stole Jason's number from Noah's phone. We had spent the day together watching movies in the tv room, swimming and later that night we went out to dinner. I loved just spending time with Noah. We talked about Harvard and how excited he was if I got a chance to go with him. He even hinted to me being his roommate and the fun we could have. I just shook my head "yeah right" I said, "we would probably not get any studying done if that were to happen." He just snuggled closer saying "the fact that you were able to do your homework here with me proves you wrong it gives us an added incentive to get it done and get it done right" Eventually he took me home and I went to sleep dreaming of Noah" Unfortunately I woke up from yet another nightmare and it took me a while to get back to sleep.
When I woke up in the morning I knew I couldn't wait any longer so I texted Jason.
Me: Hey it's Elle I need to speak to you.
Jason: OK let me facetime you
Me: Hey Jason oh, who are you
girl: Well Amy his girlfriend is my sister and who the hell are you.
Me: Oh, I am Elle Noah's Fiancée
girl: Then why are you calling Jason
then I hear in the background
Luisa why are you on my phone hey is that Elle give me that
Jason: Hey Elle what's wrong are you planning a surprise for Flynn
Me: No I need some advice. I have not been completely truthful with Noah and I need to know if I tell him now if you think he will lose it. I really don't want to ruin our time together.
Jason: OK what have you been hiding. Wait does this have to do with Justin.
Me: Yes, Jason recently Warren found out about everything that happened here and well he...
Jason: Elle stop. He is gone I don't blame you. You did what you had to do. He can no longer hurt anyone.
Me: Did Noah tell you about Warren
Jason: Yes, he is the jack ass that tried to force you to skinny dip with him and still tries to get you to go out with him even though you and Flynn are engaged.
Me: Well lately he has taken to whispering murder to me in the halls and now I am having nightmares again. I haven't told Noah because I am afraid he might beat up Warren.
Jason: Well to be honest with you Elle I want to go and beat him up myself. Look Justin physically and emotionally abused you and then tried to rape you. You did what you had to do. Killing him was the only way to stop the rape. As for telling Flynn I am here at Amy's how about the four of us meet up and Amy and I help you tell him.
Me: Really, Jason I am only calling you because unlike the guys from school Noah really seems close to you. I know him and Tuppen are close but I think Noah still can't let go that Tuppen had asked me out before we got together.
Jason: Is that the guy that wore a uniform skirt and his jersey into detention to get your number and the one that climbed into your bedroom window that night everything went down.
Me: Yep, that's the one
Jason: Yeah, Flynn is still a little apprehensive since you had shown him your scars from the weeks' events so I don't think him holding your hand for this would be good. Plus you going to him instead of Flynn will not be good.
Me: You think he will mind I contacted you
Jason: No, I promised him after we met that I would always be here for you. Can I save your number in case Flynn needs you or if you need me I have it saved?
Me: Yeah sounds like a plan. So, you want to meet at the Pier Café today at noon
Jason: I have no idea where that is Elle.
Amy: Oh, hey Elle. Luisa calm down it is just Elle she is engaged to Jason's roommate. So, you want to meet up at the Pier Café sounds good.
Me: Jason, you can fill her in on everything and I mean everything she might as well know she understands why today is important.
Jason: Are you sure Elle? I don't want to cause you more pain I want to help you move through this.
Me: Yes, I am sure. Plus she is going to need to understand if I start crying and if Noah becomes angry.
Jason: OK Elle you take care of yourself and remember I don't blame you. You did the right thing. bye
Me: thank-you Jason Bye.
Shortly after I finished talking to Jason I called Noah.
Noah: Hey Shelly baby how about we go to our spot and have a picnic and just spend the day together again.
Me: Noah, I contacted Jason.
Noah: Why
Me: I need to talk to you about something and I asked him to be there when I do. I made arrangements to meet up with him and Amy at the Pier Café at noon.
Noah: O.K. at least tell me you are not going to announce you are leaving me for my roommate.
Me: Very funny you are my everything that will never happen.
Noah: OK I will pick you up at 11
Me: Ok bye I love you
Noah: Bye I love you too.
