42. THE ULTIMATE WEDDING

The day I was to become Mrs. Noah Flynn finally arrived.  It was hard Noah and I had spent so much time together the night before our wedding was the first night since he was back from school since we didn't fall asleep together.  I know my dad was happy that I was home instead of at the Flynn's.  I woke up at 7 am and jumped into the shower after drying off and getting dressed in a button-down shirt and a pair of shorts I headed downstairs to grab some breakfast.  My dad made my favorite chocolate chip and pecan pancakes with whipped cream.  His reasoning for it was that it was the last meal he was making his little girl as an Evans.  I started crying and wrapped my arms around him.   "I love you, daddy."  "I love you too baby girl."  All of a sudden I hear "hey I love you more Shelly Belly."  I turn and hug my little brother and tell him "I love you the most Bradleybear."  He groans "ah, come on Shells I am not a little boy anymore I am going to be a freshman in high school this year.  I laugh "this coming from the kid that just called me Shelly belly."  After breakfast was done we heard a knock on the door just to find Rachel and Olivia at the door saying come on we have to go to make you look gorgeous June's orders."  I laugh and say bye to my dad and little bro.  My dad yells out to me "hey Shelly what about your stuff."  "Oh, June has it she will take it to the church."  "OK, be safe."  We pull up to the salon and have our hair washed and styled.  After that, we all got manicures and pedicures.  I had mine done in a french tip as well as Rachel and Olivia."  When we were done with our hands and feet we were moved to have our make up done.  I fell asleep while they were doing my make up the girl only woke me up long enough to apply my mascara.  We were eventually picked up by Lee who drove us all to the church to get dressed.  While the girls all got dressed I rested my head on the back of the couch and shut my eyes drifting off to sleep yet again.  

When it was time for me to change I put on my regular undergarments and the slip for the dress.  I then stepped into my wedding dress and allowed the girls to help me slide it up my body.  After fashioning the dress Olivia and Rachel helped put on my shoes.  They were a silver high heel to add a little height to me so I wouldn't be so short next to Noah.  Rachel walks up to me with two Blue guarders and says this is your something blue from me.  Amy comes up next and places a bracelet on my wrist this is your something borrowed from me.  Olivia comes up and hands me one diamond stud earring this is your something new from me.  I give her a raised eyebrow and that is when Louisa walks up and hands me the other one and me as well.  We all started laughing as I placed them in my ears.  I look around and say now all I need is something old.  At that my dad steps in and says "well I am here"  we all started laughing and had to explain to him why we were laughing.  He smiled and said, "well talk about timing but I do have your something old Elle."  He walks up to me and moves his hands to my neck placing a locket around my neck.  This was your mothers and if you open it you will see I added a little something.  Inside the locket was a picture of my mom and June on one side and on the other me and Lee.  "Now the four of you will always be together," my dad said.  With that, I sat down on the vanity stool to allow June to place my veil.  As I stand up and look around we are all in tears.  I smiled and said, "thank God we all went with the waterproof makeup." 

There is knock on the door and we hear "It's time."  I walk out and there stands Lee "Hey twin you look breathtaking my bro is so lucky."  He looks at Rachel smiles "Hey my beauty you look ravishing."  All the guys take turns telling all of us how beautiful we are.  Mathew walks up and escorts June to the front of the church just before it was time for the girls to start.  First were Tuppen and Louisa, next up was Duncan and Olivia, Then came Jason and Amy, the last to enter before me my two besties now.  My best friend for my whole life and my new best friend his girl. As the door closes behind them and I stand in front of them next to my dad my stomach turns into knots.  "you ok baby girl."  "remind me, dad, why we are doing a big wedding."  "Just breath sweetheart."  All of a sudden we here the wedding march and the doors open to reveal a beautiful blue runner with purple and white flowers flowing in the air as the guests throw them into the air.  My dad leads me down the aisle holding me tight.  Right before we get to Noah he turns and whispers in my ear "you will always be my baby girl.  I love you and Noah is a good man."  I smile up at him and step up to the Dias. My dad places my hand in Noah's hand.  I turn and look up at him and all of a sudden there is no one else there.  I realize at this very moment I am going to pledge myself to the man I have loved all my life.  For the first 14 years as my brother and now for the four as my soul mate my other half.  I barely hear the priest ask us to say our vows.  I remember Noah saying, of course, I do when asked if he accepted me and me replying I do with all my heart.  My heart lept for joy when I heard the priest say I now pronounce you man and wife you may kiss the bride.  Noah didn't wait the priests' words had barely finished before he had me pulled against him pressing his lips against mine.  As we pull apart there are a couple of chuckles and wolf whistles.  As we turn to all our family and friends I hear Noah whisper "now my favorite part."  the priest says "Let me introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Noah Flynn.
