The rest of the time I spent in Boston was awesome. We actually spent the last 24 hours just with each other. We went out to eat dinner and then went back to the hotel room and in between making love we also just held each other. He said I only have a few more weeks left before I can go home for the summer. I will be there before your graduation. Then we have your 18th birthday party and finally our wedding. I can't wait for Shelly soon you will be my wife and I will get to wake up with you in my arms for the rest of my life.
Last few weeks of my Senior year flew by. We had made sure to tell our predecessors for the dance club all the information needed about the kissing booth in case they wanted to use it again next year. It was hard to believe that it has been over a year since we had the kissing booth and Noah and I got together. We did do the kissing booth this year and we made almost triple what we made last year. Rumor has it the kissing booth has magical powers and there is a chance you could meet your soul mate. So, we had a lot of volunteers and people showing up. Funny thing is three couples ended coming up out of that round. Even Warren was able to find his girl the funny thing is it was Mia. While Tuppen ended up with Gwendolyn. Duncan ended up with this new girl named Trina.
June had bought me this blue spaghetti strap dress with a sweetheart neckline that skimmed my body and flared out into a full skirt for graduation. She told me she chose blue because Noah loves me in blue. Lee and I were so nervous about graduating and heading off to our colleges. Me to Harvard and Lee to MIT. We found out later that Rachel ended up at BSU so we were all going to be together in the fall. The night before graduation Noah and I went out and just spent time with each other. At dinner, the stupid waitress hit on Noah and when he told her we were engaged she stormed off. I couldn't help but laugh. He asked, "Is there anything left for the wedding to be planned." "just your guy's suits and who is walking with who." "Well, obviously Lee and Rachel since they are the best man and maid of honor." I say "Jason and Amy, Duncan and Olivia, Tuppen and Louisa" He smiles "sounds good." "Oh, Lee and Rachel will be wearing purple" "ok, so the rest our in blue right" "yep" "Ok we took care of the caterers and the cake" "you got the music" "yep that is done" "your parents and my dad got the hall" "the crew are decorating." "so, we are done Noah baby." "yep in a little over a month, you will be Rochelle Flynn. I can't wait."
Graduation morning came and Brad was jumping on my bed "SHELLIEBELLIE WAKE UP" "ah, go away I want to go to sleep Bradley Bear" He bounces "NOPE, get up, get up, get up" "you know you are so going to get it." I jump up and chase him down the stairs and he is giggling all the way down. When I get downstairs my dad says "grab your dress, makeup, anything else you need and change June is making all of us breakfast you will get ready there and you and Lee are going in together." "ok, dad." I run upstairs to change and get everything I need for graduation. After eating breakfast at the Flynn's I started getting ready and just as I finish putting on my shoes there is a knock on the guest room door and when I say come in Noah opens the door and looks at me smiles and tells me "you look beautiful Shelly baby." I smile "Thank you Noah babe" He walks over to me and asks me to close my eyes I do and after a little, while he asks me to lift up my hair when I hear "open your eyes." Around my neck is a beautiful locket and when I open it up inside the locket is a picture of my mom. I look up at Noah and I let the tears stream down my face and lean back against him. "thank-you this means so much to me." "Your welcome baby I love you." "I love you too." He smiles "Now, get downstairs and take a couple of pics and take off Lee is waiting." I run downstairs and sure enough, we take a few pictures and Lee and I run out the door.
As we pull up to the school Lee and I look at each other and I we both look like we are ready to cry. I smile at him "I can't believe this will be the last time we come here as students." "I know in an hour we will no longer be students here we will be entering freshman in college." "Well, at least we will still be close Twin" "Yes, we will. You know I love you right." "Yeah, and I love you let's do this."
As graduation started the principal gave out awards and gave everyone their diplomas. We had warned our family that we had made a special request from the principal and he was willing to do it for us but it would have to wait until the end. After calling out Paul Zacharia the principle turns to the class and says "Well, I had a strange request earlier in the week from two of your classmates and considering how much these two students have raised for our charity these last two years I was more than happy to agree. These two students were brought into this world on the same day at the same. Their mothers were best friends and raised them as twins and eventually, they became best friends. They asked to be allowed to leave there childhood behind them the same way they came in. So, the last to members of your class best friends literally since birth Elle Evans and Lee Flynn." We walk up and the principle hands us our diplomas at the same time and we turn around and wave to our family. They are beaming. The principle was right we entered our childhood together now we were leaving it behind together
