The Kissing Booth Nightmare

40. LAST HIGH SCHOOL PARTY!!!

After graduation, everyone came to Lee's for a graduation party.  Some people were still wearing their gowns unzipped but I was walking around in just the dress June had bought me.  While walking around I felt two arms snake around my waist and a kiss being pressed against my neck.  I instantly stiffened because I knew it wasn't Noah.   I turned around and found Warren standing there.  I pushed him hard and luckily for him we were by the pool and he fell in.  He got up sputtering and yelled, "What the hell Evans."  "I thought you would have learned by now I AM NOT INTERESTED."  I turned around and bumped right into Noah.  He looks at me and chuckles "hey, I thought there was no fighting allowed."  I giggled and wrapped my arms around his waist "well technically that wasn't fighting that was me pushing him off."  He looked at Warren "Touch her again and next time it won't be her your dealing with.  Remember Warren she is my fiancée."  

Needless to say, teens will be teens and the whole incident ended up on youtube where everyone was able to make fun of him.  Noah and I made our way into the game room and he sat down on a chair pulling me into his lap.  I was just leaning my head on his shoulder enjoying watching all our friends having fun when I glance up at Noah and realize he is watching me.  "What are you thinking about Noah?"  "How much I can't wait to marry you."  I snuggle in closer and feel his arms wrap tightly around my waist just as I hear "ah come on grouse."  I giggle and look up at Lee and just shake my head.  He hands me a beer and Noah just shakes his head and says "Shelly, I don't think so."  I stick my tongue out at him and take a big swig out of the beer.  "It is my first one behave."  All of a sudden we hear "Let's go skinny dipping"  We look up and there is Duncan on the pool table pretending to do a striptease.  Everyone started laughing as I bury my head in Noah's shoulder.  He laughs and whispers in my ear "I wouldn't mind a private striptease later."  I shake my head and ask "What makes you think you deserve one?" "Well, I have been a good boy and passed all my classes."  "Well, maybe but nothing else."  I chuckle and jump up and take off running laughing as I try to dodge the guests.  All of a sudden I am lifted in the air and spun around to face Noah and he says "oh, you are going to pay for that one Shelly baby."  I wrap my arms around his neck lean in and "just not yet let's just enjoy the party."  As we hold on to each other we start to dance staring into each other's eyes.  Our moment didn't last long when all of a sudden the music cuts off and Tuppen stands there holding the mike and starts to talk.

Tuppen:  Most of us here have been in school with each other since Pre-k.  Yet, there are two individuals here that have been together since birth.  They have always had each other's back and as our illustrious principle said early today they entered their childhood together and now they have left their childhood behind together.  I want to thank Lee and Elle for this great party.  Even though we never did get to see you finish your strip tease or get that skinny dip with you Elle because Flynn ruined it. 

Everyone laughed and next up came Duncan.

Duncan:  As Tuppen so aptly said we all really did wish you finished your show last year Elle but one thing that will always stay with me about you an Lee is your undying friendship for each other and the kindness and forgiveness you have given the rest of us.

Me:  I want to thank both Tuppen and Duncan for everything you have said.  I am sorry you didn't get to see me finish the show last year ahh who am I kidding I am glad you didn't or else I would have had to change schools.  As for Lee, I am so happy that you will be with me in Boston.  I know we will always be there for each other.  I will always have your back my twin.  I love you, Lee, Always and forever.

Lee:  I have to reiterate what my twin said to Tuppen and Duncan but I am so, glad the show didn't happen.  Not only would that have been so, grouse I think my bro would have killed all parties involved.  My dear twin I am happy we will be together in the fall and I love you too Always and forever.

Lee and I hugged each other and just let the tears spill down our cheeks.  Noah walks up to us and wraps his arms around the both of us and I love you both you dorks.  Lee and I couldn't help but start laughing at the nickname he always called the two of us.

As the party died down I said goodbye to everyone and headed to bed with Noah.  After getting ready for bed I crawled in next to him and cuddled up to him and said: "I can't believe pretty soon I will be your wife."  "I know Shelly Baby I am counting the days."
