You slowly opened your eyes and yawned as you woke up. You stretched and got out of your bed. You changed into your clothes for the day and walked downstairs. Your parents had already left for work. You walked into the kitchen and grabbed a single piece of bread. You lazily put it in your mouth and opened the front door. You looked down to see a note. You rose a brow and picked it up. It said "I've crept into your heart".

You felt confused at the stage, short note. It was extremely vague and didn't make much sense. You figured it was some sort of joke and put it to the side. You shrugged and walked out the door to go about your day.

The next day, you found another note at the front door. This one said "You won't suspect a thing". You felt more uncomfortable with this note. You wouldn't suspect what?

You once again set it to the side, but you felt anxious all day. Surprisingly, nothing happened that day. You went to bed that night thinking it was just another joke.

The next day, you found another note at the door. It said. "I will keep quiet. You won't even know I'm here." You felt your heartbeat increase. These notes were starting to feel like they weren't jokes. You felt so scared that you didn't leave your house that day.

When your parents came home, you told them about the notes. They didn't pay much mind to it saying it was just words on paper. You went to bed that night feeling more scared.

The next day, before you did anything else, you went straight to the front door. You were shocked and relieved to see that there was no note. You let out a sigh and walked back up to your room.

You walked over to your window and opened it to get some fresh air. You suddenly felt your heart stop. On your window sill was another note. You picked it up with a shaking hand and read it. It said "You won't see me in the mirror."

You started to sweat a little and turned your head from side to side, looking at your room. You quickly set the note to the side, closed the window, drew the curtains, and locked your door. You only left your room that day to eat.

The next day, you were scared to get up. You checked the front door. There was no note. You checked your window. Still nothing. Just as you were sure that you were in the clear, you took notice of your mirror. It was facing away from you with the glass against the wall. You walked over to it and turned it around. You fell to the floor and began to hyperventilate as you slowly backed away in pure terror. On your mirror, write in lipstick, was the words "You can't make me disappear".

You didn't understand. You locked your window and door last night. You made extra sure that no one could come into your room. Somehow, this person was able to.

You ran to your parents and tried to tell them. Once again, they didn't listen, thinking you were pulling some sort of joke on them.

You were so scared, but you really wanted help. You left your house that day and headed for your best friend's house. You walked up to the front door and knocked. A boy your age opened the door.

"Hey, (y/n)," Varian said.

"Varian," you said embracing him tightly.

"Woah," Varian said wrapping his arms around you. "Are you okay?"

"I'm scared," you said with your voice muffled by Varian's neck.

"Of what?" Varian asked.

"Someone's been leaving me these strange notes and even came into my room while I was sleeping," you said with some tears starting to form in your eyes.

"Hey," Varian said rubbing circles on your back. "It's okay. It'll be alright."

"How?" you asked.
