Chapter 4

At first I didn't notice the endless white room surrounding me.

"W-what!?" I gasped.

Why am I back here? I thought nervously as I looked around for any sign of Damian. I couldn't see the ice prison he was trapped in, but I saw another figure a few feet away from me.

"Mom!" I yelled, running up to her. She sat on the ground, crawling back and looking at me with pure hatred in her blue eyes. I suddenly came to a stop in front of her. "Mom?" "Stay away from me!!" She screamed. Before I could answer, another voice reached my ear. "D-dad?!"

My father, cousins, aunts and uncles were huddled together on the ground, cowering in fear as I slowly approached them. Even Ellie, Beth and Elena were burying their heads in each other's neck to avoid looking at me.

W-why are they in here?! I mentally screamed.

"Just stop!" Dad shouted. "Stop what!?" I asked. Then I heard Marco's voice. "Get out of her!" I ran up to him and my other friends. "G-get what out of me? What's going on?" I asked hesitantly.

Then, the most unpredictable thing happened to me. My body went stiff. It felt just like back in summer when my uncle used his weird blood powers on me. The weird part, was that I couldn't move any part of my body. I was still standing, looking at my family and friends through two strange holes. "I-I don't understand..." I whispered.

What surprised me even more was when I started moving towards my parents against my will. I stared through the eye-holes, my mouth hanging slightly ajar when I saw a flame appear in my hand. It was like reluctantly watching a movie take place before my eyes.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to do this...."

Is that.... MY voice!? I thought frantically. My body slowly approached mom and dad as the fire in my hand gradually grew larger and larger. "No! Stop!" Mother yelled desperately. Before I knew it, I shot the fire ball and blasted it in her stomach. Then I twirled around, using my foot to send a gust of air towards my dad.

The worst part was that I couldn't stop. My body just kept going and going! I was vulnerable. Again. I didn't know what any of this meant. I was somehow trapped inside the mind...... inside my mind, but I couldn't control myself. It felt more like someone was controlling ME.

I jumped from my thoughts upon hearing Bill's trembling voice. "P-please Crystal. We don't wanna hurt you." "Crystal?" My voice spoke as I somehow tapped my chin. "Hmm. Doesn't ring a bell." Once again, I was forced to watch myself hurt my friends and family.

My body kept fighting, but I couldn't bring myself to watch. I fell to my knees, clutching my head and trying to wake up. "N-no... this isn't real," I mumbled. "This is just another stupid dream!" I wept helplessly as I rubbed my soaked eyes. There was nothing I could do.

I could hear my body using my powers to fight the others, but the sound slowly drowned out. I barely even noticed. I was too busy trying to calm myself down. It felt like I was losing my mind. I got confused, not knowing how to distinguish right from wrong. I had only been in that weird place for a couple minutes, but it felt like forever. It felt like..... reality.

Clutching my head, I remained in that same position until everything around me went silent. My eyes were shut tight, but I could see a faint light seeping through the tiny cracks between my eyelids. I hesitantly opened them, hoping and begging for me to finally wake up.

But I didn't.

I found myself back in control of my own body, which was a relief, but I was in a place where I never thought I'd go back to. All the memories came back to me as I glanced around at the Cherry Blossom trees and lush green grass. It felt like forever, but it had been only a few months since I was brought back into my mind.

Suddenly, I felt a pounding headache. I stood up groggily, gripping my hair and squinting my eyes. I felt sick. I began hyperventilating, like the air around me was too thin to even breathe. Sweat trickled down my forehead as my vision got blurrier and blurrier.

"W-What?" I muttered when I spotted a figure in the distance. I tried my best to take a deep breath and clear my thoughts, but it was no good. To make things even worse, I started hallucinating. Apparently, the figure in the distance was closer than I had thought. I blinked, squinted and even rubbed my eyes to get a better look, but it was no use. I couldn't see anything.

That was until I spotted something that caught my attention.

Ice.

I subconsciously took a step back. My vision slowly cleared up, and I finally saw everything. It was the same ice prison, the captive in the same helpless position. "You.." I whispered, glancing warily at the confident smirk on his lips. His tanned skin and green eyes as bright as ever. "Damian..."

"I'm back~" He taunted before my vision suddenly became foggy again. I started to black out, the last thing I saw was the huge ice prison...

With a tiny crack in the middle.

I jumped up from bed suddenly, panting rapidly. Then, realization dawned upon me. "That wasn't a dream," I said to myself.

"That was a nightmare."

Then I accidentally pressed publish with ma elbow😅

Whoops.

Anyways, hope you liked this one.

Random question? What's your favorite anime?

My Hero Academia for me (even though I'm so far behind on the seasons and can't remember their names😂) But for real tho, Naruto will always hold a special part of my heart. No only is it the first anime that I watched, but I think after playing Naruto Storm 2, 3, Naruto Shippuden AND Naruto Generations, I fell in love with video games. Heck, I think that was the one thing my dad and I had in common back then. Anime and Video games😅

Oof. I gotta finish a drawing now.

Peace!
