I reluctantly woke up early the next morning. Quickly, I took a bath, fixed my hair in a messy bun and grabbed a thick, green dress. As I slowly went down the long stair case that led to the throne room, I couldn't help but thing about my dream.

I've never experienced a dream that intense before, I thought. I've never even gotten a dream since I got rid of my uncle.

"What if they get worse...?" I asked myself. "I-I must be getting them for some reason. But why...?"

"Why what?"

"Huh?" I surprisedly asked. Lucy stared at me, curiosity lingering in her dark eyes. I didn't even notice that I had made it to the end of the stairs already. "Why what?" She repeated.

Should I tell her about my dream? I asked myself. Lucy IS one to worry, and I don't want to make a big fuss. I racked my brain, trying to decipher a way out of the predicament. I'm probably just having a side effect of the trauma with my uncle, I finally decided.

"Why..... did you have to call me down here so early?" I lied, rubbing my aching eyes. "Well," she glanced skeptically at me. "Your parents are at a royal summit meeting at some place called...... Tozerenta, and won't be back for a while." Why didn't I hear about that? I thought. Who else am I supposed to talk to about my dreams?!? "The Queen left some chores for you to complete while she's away."

I rolled my eyes.

"Typical mom."

I sat on my mini throne with an extremely long paper with scribbles on it. My mouth gaped open, tired eyes widened with shock. "How long will she be GONE FOR?!?" I yelled. "I dunno..." Lucy shrugged. "But she said something about this being your first job as temporary Queen... I think....?"

I froze.

My face went pale and my expression was as blank as ever. At first I thought I was still dreaming. There was NO way that my mom said that. I didn't believe it. Not one bit. "What?" I asked dryly. "My mom..." Lucy nodded.

"Said that I, Crystal, her daughter...."

She nodded again.

"Should be temporary Queen?"

"Yes?" She responded hesitantly.

I jumped from my seat, already pacing around the room. "What? H-how am I just hearing about this?!" I panicked. "Why would she do something like that? She knows I don't work well under pressure. I-I don't even know the first thing about being a Queen!" "Crystal," Lucy grumbled.

"S-should I dress differently? Act differently? EAT differently!?" I yelled. "Crystal!" She said louder. I couldn't hear her over my loud thoughts exploding in my mind. I gasped. "I don't wanna give up CHICKEN!" "Listen to yourself!" Lucy shouted. I suddenly paused.

"What are you worrying about?" She said. "Why do you always doubt yourself?" "I dunno. Maybe because I'm a super clumsy wannabe," I stated dryly. "Come on. You? Clumsy? You saved the entire kingdom with that 'clumsy' butt of yours." I sighed, crossing my arms and rolling my eyes as I mumbled, "Can you stop reminding me of that incident. It wasn't exactly the best time of my life fighting my own uncle."

"That's not the point!" She continued, some sort of excitement shining in her eyes. "You've done so many things beyond your abilities. I'm sure you can handle these simple tasks." Lucy smiles at me encouragingly, persuading me to listen to her advice.

First the nightmares and now this?! I thought. Everything seems to be happening so quickly. How do I really feel about this whole 'temporary Queen' thing? Do I really want this? I glanced back at Lucy, her face struggling to maintain the same smile.

I don't think I have a choice...

"Fine," I mumbled. "Yay!!" She squealed. I pointed at her and squinted my eyes as I said, "I'm only doing this for the chicken..." "Of course you are," Lucy giggled before we went to check my first task.

I stepped out of the castle, clutching the sleeves of my dark grey sweater as a cool breeze blew by. I exhaled as a white puff came from my shivering lips. Glancing behind me, I sighed. "No need," I said to the two guards who started following me through the castle walls.

Slowly, I backed out and away from the castle, staring skeptically at the golden armored guards. "But.... Princess-" "That's an order!" I rolled my eyes. I sighed as I walked away. I can take care of myself, I thought. The cold breeze caused me to clutch my shoulders as I went down the hill.

It was still pretty bright out, but still pretty cold. I took a deep breath, soaking in the moist air that tickled my nostrils. After a few minutes, I had finally made it to the entrance of town. The moment I stepped in, everyone turned to me.

And bowed.... as usual.

I had actually gotten used to all the royalty treatment and to be honest, I liked it. It made me feel special for once. "Mr.Ron accuses Ms.Suzy of theft...." I read from a miniature scroll in my sweater pocket. "Now where could they be....?"

I tapped my chin and looked around, only to be stopped by the sound of people arguing. I followed the sound around corners and finally found the source. And I really wasn't expecting what I saw.

Shampoo guy and Perfume lady!?!?

A/N

Oof. Mr.Clean returns!!

Ahhh, I sorta liked this chill chapter. It was great to write!

Also, what I forgot to mention last time, thank you guys so much for 68 views already on this book! I'm so glad you're liking it enough to keep reading! I'll try my best to get some more chapters written.

Random question! What's your favorite subject? For me, I'm not too sure actually. Currently, I really like science. Right now we're learning about the Periodic Table. At first it looks really complicated but now that I've done some labs and gizmos on it, it's pretty simple and broken into sections.

Anyways, if you liked this chapter leave a vote or comment!

See ya laterrr!
