We all sat in the tent in awkward silence. I brought myself to the far corner, away from the other four people.

Before we all got settled down. The girl with blonde hair called herself Delilah and the other guy with dark brown eyes said his name was Alex. Another boy about my height came in, introducing himself as Cody. Finally, the mysterious male spoke up.

"So...where do we start?" He chuckles nervously as he avoided eye contact. "How about your name, why you kept me here and why you stole?!" I snapped, narrowing my eyebrows at him. "R-right," he sighed. "Blaze..... my.... my name is Blaze. Listen I'm sorry about everything-"

"Sorry?!" I yelled surprisedly. "Sorry after all that you did?! Why would it take you so long to realize that you're SORRY? After all the destruction you've caused!" I screamed frustratedly at the four strangers. He's done so much more harm than good! And just for what? To say he's sorry?!

I hated that feeling. The feeling of vulnerability. My head was still pounding, like a never ending labyrinth, pain slow but hurtful. Everyone went silent and I actually didn't care. I was way too frustrated to pay any attention. I stared angrily at the ground, wrapping my arms tightly around my knees, rubbing them roughly along the torn cloth of my dress.

"I never meant for all of this to happen...." he explained. "I-I'm not a thief." "So why?" I sighed, slowly calming down and looking straight at him. "Why'd you steal? What was the purpose of all that you've done?" He took a deep breath like he tried to arrange the thoughts in his head.

"My friends and I... we're not from here," he began. "All four of us came from a kingdom far from Coralon, isolated from many others. We had to leave, there was a treacherous war in our home. Then he.... OUR parents..... they all died. We were left on our own forced to run away and somehow made it here."

My eyes widened as I heard him speak. My mind went blank, trying to process all that I heard. R-ran away? I thought surprisedly. I couldn't believe the truth. Slowly, I felt a horrible feeling creeping up my chest. It felt like I was losing control over my body again, since I had strangely gotten used to the feeling, but it wasn't completely like that. It was different.

It was guilt.

Guilt that I had been so rough on them. Why? Because I could relate to their situation. That feeling of vulnerability and confusion, not knowing what to do. That horrible feeling that makes you want to forget about all your problems and just.... run away. Just like I did.

What am I thinking?! I thought angrily. They're thieves. HE'S a thief. He fought me.... nothing he says can justify that. I quickly regained my composure and fixed my gaze at Blaze. With my eyebrows furrowed I said firmly, "You think just because you have a sad backstory, stealing and hurting me is OKAY?!?"

The other three looked at each other nervously before Cody quickly answered. "We never said it's okay." "Yeah," Delilah spoke up. "We didn't really have any support.... with no source of money the only other option is to... take stuff. Without permission." "Look. What I meant was I didn't mean to hurt you. You just blacked out back there, so I just brought you here.... sorry," Blaze said before whispering something. "Dang... I didn't even hit you and you blacked out. Shouldn't these Princesses be super strong or something?"

He rubbed the back of his neck as he exchanged glances with his friends. Once again, I was left in shock by what he said. A million questions rushed through my head. There's so much I don't know about this guy ......and he knows ME? Isn't he not from Coralon? What the heck is his deal? Why'd he bring me here? I tried my best to gather my burning questions and ask about the two most important topics. "First of all... how do you know who I am?"
