AN: My laptop dropped on the floor and I lost my pre-written material from the other night. I had to write new stuff. But here's an update :D

"You must really like disobeying me love," Trey said in a low, menacing voice and I felt his hands slide over my waist to my hips, pulling me roughly to him. I closed the oven door, setting it on a timer and turned to face him.

"Only as much as you love not listening to me," I replied sweetly. I looked into his eyes and was shocked to find it glowing luminously, which would explain the low gravelly voice.

"Imagine my surprise when I get back home and see the car, but can't sense you in the house. Then when I talk to the warriors they inform me that you're here. Are you running away from us baby?" he asks. Suddenly his hand has fisted in my hair and he's pulling my hair back and to the side to expose my mark. I don't get a chance to answer when he bites down on me. My gasp turns into a moan when he takes a pull and my eyes roll back into my head. One of my hands reach to grab his shoulder while the other tangles into his hair.

"I wasn't running," I manage to mewl.

He lifts me up on to the counter and wedges himself between my legs.

"Good, because I wouldn't let you," he says when he lets up and licks my mark.

"You can't dictate what I do," I snapped back.

"Ease up," he warned and nipped my lip.

"Stop being so controlling," I retort.

"Only when you stop being impossibly stubborn."

I glare at him and he stares back at me.

"Give me my cards back Trey."

"Why? You don't need them," he says seriously.

"I'm not using your money!" I exclaim and pin him with a glare.

"You should. I have more than I could ever know what to do with. It's ours now."

"Well then donate it to some charity. I don't need it."

"I already donate baby. To multiple organizations. Why can't you let me do this one thing for you?" he asked.

"Because it's too much. We just met and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I've also always been financially independent and it freaks me out to rely on you," I explained.

"I just want to spoil you. I love you so much and I've been waiting on you for far too long. I just want to give you what I've worked so hard for all these years," he finished. I sat there with my eyes wide in surprise and my mouth slightly agape.

"You love me?" I asked quietly.

"Of course I do. It may seem early in your standards, but I know myself. I know you and you're absolutely perfect for me. I don't see why that's such a surprise for you."

"You never said," I supply.

"You freaked out about the card. That's inconsequential to me. How do you think I would have felt about telling you about loving you?" he asked.

I sat there taking it all in for a few seconds before I had an epiphany. Looking into his eyes I suddenly saw everything so clearly. This man just wanted to love me.

"I love you too," I answered and stroked his jaw.

"You do?" he asked startled and so unsure.

"Yes. How could I not? You're everything I could have hoped for in a man. Due to self-preservation I kept myself at a distance from you emotionally, but I can see you won't hurt me."

"I would rather die than hurt you love," he said fiercely and captured my mouth in a heated duel. Tongues and teeth clattered as we fought a battle against each other. As usual he won and took over, whisking us to my room.
